SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENABLING DISPERSED ATHLETIC GAMES
A system for enabling dispersed athletic games comprises first and second sensors respectively configured to capture first images of a first player playing a dispersed sporting game on a first court or field and a second player playing the dispersed sporting game on a second court or field. The system also comprises a server configured to analyze the first images and the second images for respectively detecting a first gameplay event associated with the first player and a second gameplay event associated with the second player. The server is configured to determine a change in gameplay based on a comparison of information related to the detected first gameplay event and information related to the detected second gameplay event. The server is further configured to transmit a message for instructing the first player or the second player to play the dispersed game in accordance with the change in gameplay.
CORE MUSCLE TRAINING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A core muscle training apparatus and method is described. The apparatus comprises a harness that is worn by the user, to which a pair of resistance leads are connected at opposing sides of the user's waist approximately above the hips. A resistance force is applied through the resistance leads against an effort force exerted by the user in order to stimulate recruitment and activation of the targeted muscles. By adjusting the direction and the amount of resistance force applied to the resistance leads, the demand on the muscles being targeted can be controlled. The core muscle training apparatus according to embodiments of the present disclosure further offers versatility in the environment in which it can be used. The apparatus can be used, for example, when the user is in a static position or can be used during dynamic functional movements.
BASKETBALL SHOOTING TRAINING DEVICE
A basketball shooting training device includes a main frame, a first vertical rail structure having vertical and oblique rail portions, a first sliding base, and a first basketball imitation member. The first vertical rail structure is disposed on the main frame. The first sliding base is slidably disposed on the first vertical rail structure for sliding along the first vertical rail structure. The first basketball imitation member is connected to the first sliding base. When the first basketball imitation member is propped and then propelled upwardly by a user's hand, the first sliding base slides from a first initial position on the vertical rail portion to a shooting position on the oblique rail portion for guiding the user's hand to complete a set shot along the first vertical rail structure.
Basketball shot determination system
A basketball shot determination system for use with a basket and a portable electronic device including a processing unit, a memory and an output device, the system includes a basketball, at least one sensor carried by the basketball, and a non-transient computer-readable medium. The medium contains code to direct the processor to obtain at least one attribute of a shot of the basketball towards the basket. The at least one attribute being sensed by the at least one sensor or derived from signal output by the at least one sensor. The code also directs the processor to determine whether the shot is a made basket by comparing the at least one attribute of the shot to one or more predetermined signature characteristics of a made basket, and to present output to a person based on the determination of whether the shot is a made basket.
Basketball shot determination system
A basketball shot determination system for use with a basket and a portable electronic device including a data acquisition device, a processing unit, a memory and an output device, the system includes a basketball, at least one sensor carried by the basketball, and a non-transient computer-readable medium. The medium contains code to direct the processor to obtain at least one attribute of a shot of the basketball towards the basket from the data acquisition device. The at least one attribute is sensed by the sensor or derived from signal output by the sensor. The medium contains code to direct the processor to determine whether the shot is a made basket by comparing the at least one attribute of the shot to one or more predetermined signature characteristics of a made basket, and to present output to a person based on the determination of whether the shot is a made basket.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING A BASKETBALL PLAYER'S SHOOTING
A launcher passes a series of basketballs to various locations on a basketball playing area. The locations where the basketballs are passed is determined by selection of one or more individually selectable indicia located on an interface. A controller electrically connected to the interface and the launcher is configured to program the launch to pass the basketballs to the locations selected by the user in the order in which the user selects them.
Bubble Emitting Basketball Goal Stand
A basketball goal stand that utilizes a bubble generating device that is housed within an upper portion of a basketball backboard to emit soap bubbles from the upper perimeter of the backboard when a basketball goal is made. It utilizes a tractor fed belt that is passed through a soap mixture filled vessel, and a dynamic air source that dispels air bubbles from loaded soap bubble orifices on the tractor fed belt. Optionally, it may use a bubble venture nozzle to created the bubbles that are emitted fro the backboard. A second embodiment utilizes a floating platform for use in a pool that supports a toroidal ring that houses the bubble generating components. There is no backboard utilized in the pool version.
Integrated training system for articles of footwear
An integrated training system for articles of footwear is disclosed. Each article of footwear includes a set of physical characteristics associated with an athletic skill. A customized training program is provided with each article of footwear to provide custom tailored training for improving the particular athletic skill associated with the selected article of footwear.
Basketball sensing apparatus
An apparatus including a data acquisition device, a processing unit, a memory and an output device. The data acquisition device obtains at least one attribute of a shot of a basketball towards a basket. The at least one attribute is sensed by at least one sensor carried by the basketball or derived from signal output by the at least one sensor. The memory contains instructions to direct the processing unit to determine whether the shot is a made basket shot or a missed basket shot by comparing the at least one attribute of the shot to one or more predetermined signature characteristics of a made basket, and to present on the output device to a person an output based on the determination of whether the shot is a made basket shot or a missed basket shot, and other information regarding the shot.
Smart sport device
An Internet of Thing (IoT) sport device includes a light source; sensors including a camera and a microphone array; a processor coupled to the light source and the sensor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
