Training Apparatus and Method for Ball Hitting
A ball hitting practice device includes a shaft having a target at a distal end, a grip at a proximal end, an accelerometer, a microprocessor, and a way of providing feedback to a person hitting the target. A ball hitting practice system includes a ball hitting practice device and a computing device wirelessly communicating with the ball hitting practice device. A method for practicing ball hitting involves striking the target of a ball hitting practice, transferring timed acceleration data to the computing device, correlating ball hitting parameters with a training condition and displaying the correlated ball hitting parameter in a display.
Play and practice apparatus, system and use
The present specification discloses a play and practice apparatus, system and associated methods of use and kits comprising such play and practice apparatus and/or system. In particular aspects, the play and practice apparatus, system and associated methods of use are utilized for practice and/or games utilizing a ball. In one aspect, the play and practice apparatus has a first playing surface and a second playing surface substantially opposing the first playing surface, and the ball can be a volleyball. In another aspect, the play and practice apparatus is useful as a training aid as well as for playing a game utilizing the play and practice apparatus.
Volleyball Training Device
A volleyball training device for practicing spiking of a volleyball includes a base that is configured to position on a substantially horizontal surface. A plurality of nested rods, which is selectively vertically extensible, is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from a first end of the base. A first rod is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from an upper end of the nested rods. The first rod is opposed to the base. A coupler is coupled to and extends downwardly from the first rod distal from the nested rods. A lattice is selectively couplable to and extends from the plurality of nested rods. The lattice is selectively positionable between the base and the coupler. The coupler is configured to selectively couple to a volleyball to position the volleyball to be spiked by a user. The lattice is configured to simulate a volleyball net.
Sports skills training apparatus
A training apparatus arranged to be portable, collapsible, and able to be configured into different arrangements for different nets and/or different sports-related activities. The training apparatus comprises a support portion, base poles pivotally coupled to the support portion, base brackets coupled to the base poles opposite the support portion, extensions coupled to the base brackets, first and second flexible rods removably coupled to the support portion, and a net configured to be received by the flexible rods. The net is configured to bend the first and second flexible rods from a linear state to an arcuate state, such that a net tension holds the net upright.
Sport training devices
A sport training device for players practicing with balls that includes a support arm assembly having an arm post, a pivot assembly coupled to the arm post and comprising a claw assembly that supports a ball, and a clamp coupled to the arm post. The claw assembly is movable to a raised position, and the clamp is configured to engage the pivot assembly when the claw assembly moves to the raised position.
Special sports training ball device as a solution filled product called a HydroPro
An inflatable sports training ball made as an inflatable exterior surface formed of an air tight flexible outer casing which, when inflated, defines an exterior surface; an interior air pocket surrounded by an interior liner defining a bladder, the interior liner made of an air tight and water tight rubber; an inflation and fill valve; and a solution filling a portion of the bladder, the solution being substantially heavier than air and occupying an amount of said interior volume wherein a pre-determined amount of the solution is forced into the interior air chamber of the sports ball with a pump and the resulting partially solution filled sports ball is used for training drills by a sports player.
PORTABLE MULTIFUNCTIONAL GAMING APPARATUS
A portable multifunctional gaming apparatus may comprise a pair of poles, and each of the poles has a main body, a lower end, and an upper end. The pole can be held by a user or mounted into a portable base through the lower end to firmly stand on the ground. Moreover, the lower end of the pole can connect to an extending pole to extend the length of the pole for different activities, and a sliding groove is formed at the upper end of the pole. Furthermore, a plurality of peripheral grooves are formed on a surface of the pole for receiving winding ropes. The base configured to steadily stand on the ground has a receiving hole at an upper end to receive the pole, thereby used for different games.
POOL NOODLE CONNECTOR
An assembly includes at least one barb mount mounted to a pool noodle, and at least one connector module to which the barb mount is inserted and locked onto. The connector module allows other pool noodle ends having a similar barb mount mounted thereto to be attached to the connector module. The barb mount includes a hollow body having an engagement section and a locking section which are separated by a stop flange. The engagement section is adapted for insertion into the central cavity of a pool noodle, at one end of the pool noodle. The locking section is shaped for locking onto a connector module or an accessory module. The locking section includes locking tabs.
