A system having a ball rebounder for measuring speed, accuracy, and distance in athletic training for ball kicking, the rebounder having a surface or wall that detects a ball strike and a controller that determines and displays the location of the strike as well as other metrics including without limitation distance from an intended strike point, distance of a kicker to the intended target, speed, and a calculated score based on one or more variables.

Disclosed herein are device and system for rebounding basketballs comprising: a) a bottom frame assembly having a front portion, first and second side portions, and a rear portion, the bottom frame assembly comprising: i) a bottom support frame having a plurality of detachably connected tubular elements defining the edge of the bottom frame assembly, and ii) a bottom screen component attached to the bottom support frame; and b) at least two side frame assemblies, each side frame assembly having front, rear, top, bottom, and portions, each side frame assembly comprising: i) a side support frame having a plurality of detachably connected tubular elements, ii) a side screen component attached to the side support frame, and iii) an attachment component connected to a portion of the side frame assembly, and configured to releasably attach the side frame assembly to a basketball backboard at a substantially fixed position.

A ping pong table for playing ping pong on a variably configurable table includes a center panel that is rectangularly shaped. A pair of side panels is hingedly coupled singly to and extends from opposing sides of the center panel. The side panels extend between opposing ends of the center panel. A plurality of legs is coupled to and extends perpendicularly from a bottom of the center panel. The legs are positioned on the center panel such that the center panel is supportable on a substantially horizontal surface. The side panels are configured to be positioned in angled positions relative to the center panel.

A retractable ball return system having a rebounding surface that is retractable on a roll back into a reel assembly housing, which housing is mountable above a garage door opening or in an open space such as a gymnasium. The rebounding apparatus includes an integrated cable support structure, which is securable at its lower corners to attachment members mounted to the garage door frame. The door frame attachments have a plurality of different connection points which allow the rebounding surface to be secured at different degrees of angle, from angling forward to angling back, or centered in the middle for a perpendicular setting. Once connected, the support cable is retracted, either manually or mechanically, to pull the cable taught, to allow for a strong support structure. The rebounding surface is also then retracted until it has a desired tension level to allow the rebounding surface to be used with different balls as well as to adjust the different performance levels with the same ball.

The system is an athletic training station for individual and team sports. The station may be a ball-handling and passing station that includes a television with a virtual coach and training walls. The television may project a virtual trainer and the walls may allow a user to mimic passing and handling techniques by utilizing the walls of the station. The station may be stationary or portable. The station may include a front and a back portion that allow more than one user to utilize the station at a time.

A sports rebound wall is provided that includes: a rebound surface, at least one target area formed in the rebound surface, and a resistive matrix sensor formed on, or embedded in, the target area. The matrix sensor includes a first array of substantially parallel conductive tracks and a second array of substantially parallel conductive tracks. The first array and the second array are spaced apart from one another. The rebound wall has a matrix sensor that is capable of providing information about the force, location and timing at which the target area of the sports rebound wall is impacted. This is made possible by the specific construction of the matrix sensor.

An apparatus includes a first base member, a second base member, a first sliding connector slidable along the first base member, a second sliding connector slidable along the second base member, a first pivotable connector coupled to the first base member, a second pivotable connector coupled to the second base member, a first side support pivotably coupled to the first pivotable connector, a second side support pivotably coupled to the second pivotable connector, one or more cross-members extending between at least one of (a) the first pivotable connector and the second sliding connector or (b) the second pivotable connector and the first sliding connector, a first brace (a) pivotably coupled to the first side support and (b) pivotably coupled to the first sliding connector, and a second brace (a) pivotably coupled to the second side and (b) pivotably coupled to the second sliding connector.

Ball return devices may include a body having a front surface configured to return a ball incident thereon and a back surface. The body may be configured to be positioned at an angle to, and coincident with, an underlying surface, the angle between the ground surface and the body being variable. The ball return devices may also include an attachment mechanism coupled to the body and adapted to attach the body to an external anchoring mechanism.

Provided herein is a multi-purpose exercise apparatus for improving sports coordination with which a user may sense stimuli from inside and outside one's body and at the same time operate one's body functions so as to adapt to the given circumstances using body muscles when playing a football, volleyball, handball, tennis, table tennis game and the like, thereby improving abilities of adjusting one's body parts such as the user's correct posture, balance, timing, flexibility, agility and the like, especially, significantly improving the ball control technique, body senses, and judgment ability of ball game players or sports participants.
