Lacrosse Training Assembly
A lacrosse training assembly includes a frame that is positionable on a training field. The frame defines an angled surface that is oriented at approximately 45.0 degrees from horizontal when the frame is positioned in a deployed position. A ring is coupled to the frame and the ring is oriented coplanar with the angled surface when the frame is positioned in the deployed position. An elastic membrane is coupled to the ring and a lacrosse ball is thrown thereagainst for subsequently rebounding the lacrosse ball. A sensing unit is coupled to the elastic membrane for sensing movement of the elastic membrane and thereby detecting a force with which the lacrosse ball strikes the elastic membrane. The sensing unit is in wireless electrical communication with an extrinsic electronic device for subsequently analyzing data from the sensing unit with respect to the lacrosse ball.
SPORTS REBOUNDING AND GOAL APPARATUS
A sports rebounding and goal apparatus for receiving a moving object, such as a ball, or puck having a base frame with elongated base members, an upper frame connected to the base frame and having elongated supports and upper frame members pivotally connected to the base frame. A first lock pivotally joins the supports and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the elongated supports and an unlocked configuration to allow folding movement of the supports relative to each other and relative to the first lock. Elongated cross members are pivotally connected to the upper frame and slidingly connected to base frame. A second lock pivotally connects at least one of the cross members and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the cross members and an unlocked position to allow drawing together of the cross members.
COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED AMERICAN SOCCER TRAINING AND EVALUATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
A computer-implemented American soccer training and evaluation method that includes subjecting a drilling user to pre-defined drilling protocol(s) of a plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and obtain, from each pre-defined drilling protocol(s) of the plurality of American soccer drilling assemblies and from at least one sensor on each of the assemblies, at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user. The user physical characteristic is communicated to an administrative server over a network, where it is stored and used to create a drilling user performance profile having individualized performance comparisons with respect to the at least one user physical characteristic of the drilling user and a performance benchmark. Then, the drilling user performance profile is communicated to to at least one of a plurality of electronic computing devices of a plurality of consuming users for evaluation and review.
Heads up sports training system
The present disclosure provides a sports training system including a first housing including a transmitter; a second housing including a receiver and a wireless communication module; and a plurality of illuminating targets in communication with the wireless communication module; wherein, in operation: the transmitter projects a transmission; the receiver is positioned laterally away from the transmitter and receives the projected transmission; in response to an object passing between the transmitter and receiver, the receiver is blocked from receiving the projected transmission; and in response to the receiver being blocked from receiving the projected transmission, a selected one of the targets illuminates.
Ball Game Apparatus and Method of Play
A portable ball game apparatus and method of play is disclosed. It has a generally horizontal, generally circular court surface peripherally surrounded by a low fence and the court surface has a radius r with the fence having a height h measured above the court surface. The court surface is generally planar and is substantially unbroken by irregularities or openings and an optional structure is provided that supports the court surface, such that the court surface is at a height hs above a player standing surface.
Method of training with an exercise punching ball
A punching ball is spherical and specifically designed for striking against a wall for power and precision training. The punching ball can have varied weight, size, rebound characteristics and density parameters while maintaining a multilayer configuration in which there are two layers of foam around a dense core. The outer-most foam layer is covered by an outer shell material. By using different densities in the foam layers and for the core, the punching ball can deform around the fist of a person punching the punching ball. As such, the punching ball can be directed to a desired location during a punch. This provides a method of training in power and precision, as the punching ball can be repeatably punched towards a wall, the person training having to follow-through on every rebound.
Hockey shooter tutor
A once-piece hockey puck-training device for improving hockey puck shooting comprising a hockey goalie panel mannequin having a 2-dimensional shape similar to a shape of a hockey goalie in a butterfly style position with the hockey goalie panel mannequin constructed from a manipulated durable material characterized to produce a rebound of a hockey puck which ricochets off the mannequin simulating the rebound of a hockey puck which rebounds from a hockey goalie, the hockey goalie panel mannequin securable to a hockey goal post to form a right shoulder target slot, a left shoulder target slot, a right lower arm target slot, a left lower shoulder target slot, and a between the legs/skates target slot with the target slots shaped and sized to mimic the typical scoring areas when a hockey goalie is tending a net in the “butterfly style” technique.
TENNIS WALL
The present invention relates to a tennis wall (100), comprising a frame that can be erected on the ground (101) and a cloth (102) stretched in said frame (101), wherein the cloth (102) is stretched such that a level cloth surface (104) is formed and that a tennis ball hitting the cloth surface (104) rolls or slides up the cloth surface (104) and then rolls or slides down again, characterized in that a recess (105) is provided on the upper end (103) of the cloth (102), the recess (105) being designed and positioned such that a tennis ball, once it has rolled or slid up the cloth surface (104), then enters the recess (105), subsequently rolls or slides out of the recess (105) again and only then rolls or slides down the cloth surface (104). The invention also relates to the use of this tennis wall as an aid in tennis training.
Pickleball barrier
A deployable pickleball barrier includes a plurality of panels having a first rigid surface, a second rigid surface, and a substantially straight channel coupling the rigid surfaces. Each of the plurality of panels are coupled with another of the plurality of panels by an interpanel joint that includes a rigid bond and a plurality of fold lines formed in the first rigid surface to form a rightwardly biasing hinge. Each of the plurality of panels includes an intrapanel joint including a plurality of fold lines formed in the second rigid surface to form a leftwardly biasing hinge. The deployable pickleball barrier can be folded at each of the hinges to alternate between a deployed configuration and a folded configuration.
