VESSEL PROVIDED WITH AN IMPROVED AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM
20240262483 · 2024-08-08 ·

A vessel having an air circulation system allowing better exploitation of the spaces inside the vessel is provided. The flanks of the hull of the vessel are used for accommodating at least part of the components of the air circulation system to free up useful space on decks, in order to use it for other purposes. Porthole frames are used for making air ports for the ventilation and air conditioning system to simplify the design of the system and not to deteriorate the outer appearance of the hull.

Vapour Transfer Assembly and Method for Use Thereof
20240391578 · 2024-11-28 ·

Vapour transfer assembly for a plurality of oil tanks being connected to a common ventilation pipe to allow the atmosphere to be displaced from the tanks to avoid excessive pressure build-up in the tanks. The tanks are grouped into clusters of tanks comprising at least two tanks. A vapour transfer conduit from at least a first tank of such cluster of tanks is connected to a second tank of same cluster causing the atmosphere displaced from the first tank of the cluster of tanks to move through at least the second tank of said cluster of tanks before entering a common ventilation pipe. Thereby, a slower concentration build-up of volatile organic compounds in the atmosphere entering the common ventilation pipe is obtained. A method for loading such tanks is also contemplated.

Fabric air shaft ventilator with instant opening and fastening for boats. The invention relates to a device for improving air circulation on board boats. It consists of a frustoconical-shaped fabric (8) whose air inlet (1) is maintained in position by two rods (2) and (4) maintained in the form of loops in contact with the deck of the boat and whose air outlet (3) is positioned inside the deck hatch. The device can be oriented in all directions and does not require anchoring at height, so that it can be used on all deck hatches of sailboats and motorboats. The rod (1) is folded in a figure of eight so as to occupy less space when it is not in use. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to improve comfort on board boats by improving air circulation.

Ventilation apparatus of a drillship

Provided is a ventilating apparatus for a drill ship, which allows a drill ship sailing around an arctic region to maintain appropriate temperature and pressure. The ventilating apparatus for the drill ship includes: a derrick forming an enclosed space blocked from the exterior; a moonpool formed under the derrick; an air supply device supplying outside air to the moonpool or the derrick; and an air exhaust device exhausting the supplied outside air out of the top of the derrick.
