FENCING WEAPON WITH KIT AND METHOD TO ILLUMINATE THE SAME
Lighting kit (1) for weapons in use in fencing comprising: a light source (6); at least one guided propagation member (10) of light (L) generated by the source (6), said member (10) being disposed within a groove (11) formed on a blade (9) of said weapon for use in fencing; constraint means (16) for firmly engaging the propagation member (10) within said groove (11); and supply means (18) electrically connected to the light source (6).
DETERMINING FENCING BLADE QUALITY USING DYNAMIC MAGNETIC FIELD MEASUREMENTS
An apparatus may determine the quality of a fencing blade. The apparatus may include an electrical current source; a fencing blade to be tested for quality; two electrical cables, each connected between the electrical current source and the fencing blade so as to cause current from the current source to travel through at least a portion of the fencing blade; and a magnetic field sensor in sufficient proximity to the fencing blade so as to enable the magnetic field sensor to detect a magnetic field generated by the fencing blade when the current passes through the fencing blade.

PROTECTIVE MASK
A protective mask includes a main frame body made of magnesium alloy and having an imaginary vertical central line. The main frame body has a plurality of first rods arranged along the central line, a plurality of second rods, and at least one first protrusion. Each of the first rods has spaced-apart first front and rear surfaces, and two opposite first connecting surfaces interconnecting the first front and rear surfaces. A thickness between the first front and rear surfaces is larger than a thickness between the first connecting surfaces. Each of the second rods is connected between two adjacent ones of the first rods. The first protrusion protrudes from the first front surface of one of the first rods.
Wearable score-keeping device for swordplay games
A wearable score-keeping device to reliably record successful strikes in games of mock swordplay is provided. In one embodiment, a player (111) wears a breastplate device (110) that houses a target module (114). Contacting the strike zone (116) of the target module (114) of the opposing player with a sword device (112) is each player's objective. When contact is made with the strike zone, an impact switch (216) relays that information to a circuit board (220), which is programmed according to game rules chosen by the players (111). The circuit board then instructs one or more signaling devices (118, 218) to alert the players (111) to any landed strikes and so keeps score.

Removable accessory for a fencing mask
A removable accessory for a fencing mask provided with a mesh having an array of apertures is provided. The accessory can include a main body having a first surface, and a plurality of projections extending from the first surface of the main body. Each projection is configured to be removably insertable into an aperture of the mesh. Therefore, the accessory may be removably attached to the fencing mask, without damaging the fencing mask.
