Digital-Optical Object Tracker
A digital-optical tracking device and methods for tracking and timing swimmers are disclosed. The digital-optical tracking device is waterproof and submersible, and includes a stereo optical system that takes digital stereo images of an underwater region. The stereo optical system includes at least two optical elements, each of which forms an image in the stereo image. The tracking methods involve repeatedly determining distances to swimmers by measuring distances between stereo copies of the swimmers in successive, time-stamped stereo images. The methods may use predictive algorithms to determine regions of interest within the stereo images in which the swimmers are likely to be found. Once tracking data is established, it is displayed to the swimmers during their workouts and may be shared among multiple trackers in a peer-to-peer configuration, saved for later reference, and sent to a coach station or stations for real-time analysis.
SWIMMING MACHINE
A swimming machine is delineated comprising a water driver for generating a directed flow of water and a housing adapted for receiving the water driver. An adjusting assembly is disposed above the housing and coupled to the housing via an adjustable connector that allows the housing and the adjusting assembly to move relative to each other to set the housing at a desired depth in a pool. A hanging assembly is coupled to the adjusting assembly such that the adjustment assembly can hang on an upper edge of a pool. The swimming machine further includes a supporting assembly independent of the adjusting assembly that is coupled to the housing to move therewith and is disposed below the hanging assembly. The supporting assembly contacts against the inner wall of the pool to support the body.
Wave making apparatus
A wave making apparatus for use with a wave pool having water is disclosed. The apparatus includes a wave making chamber having an interior and a plurality of chamber walls. The chamber also has a passageway connecting the interior to the wave pool and constructed to allow water to flow there-between. A water vane is disposed of in or adjacent to the passageway. The wave vane includes at least one smooth and curved water vane wall, which in combination with the plurality of chamber walls, create at least two conduit paths for the water flowing between the interior and the wave pool. The conduit paths have two ends, and the water enters one end in a first direction and exits the second end in a second direction.
WATER FLOW CONTROL DEVICE FOR SWIMMING TRAINING
Disclosed is a water flow control device for swimming training that includes a swimming training device and a main water inlet pipe and a main water outlet pipe. The swimming training device includes at least a swimming pump. The main water inlet pipe and the main water outlet pipe are connected with the swimming pump. The water inlet of the main water inlet pipe is communicated with a swimming pool and a water outlet of the main water outlet pipe is connected with a jet nozzle. A filter device includes at least a filter pump, a filter sterilization device. A filter water inlet pipe and a filter water outlet pipe are connected with the filter pump. The filter water inlet pipe is communicated with the swimming pool through the filter sterilization device and the filter water outlet pipe communicated with the main water inlet pipe.
Pool game device, system, and method
A kit comprising at least 2 devices adapted to be easily attached by way of suction to one or more sides or a bottom of a swimming pool, each of the devices having a grab member adapted to be grabbed by a hand of a child player or an adult player, the devices adapted to be easily attached to a side or bottom of the pool. A game can be played with the devices after they are attached at separate points such that a player may grab a first device with one hand and then a second device with another hand, moving along said side or said bottom while remaining under water. The device comprises a housing having an upper grab member having a height, diameter, cross-section, shape, and surface configured to be grabbed by a hand of a child or an adult, an actuator member configured to move up and down within the upper grab member, a spring member within the upper grab member arranged and adapted to urge the actuator member in an upward direction, and a flexible disk shaped member adapted to engage a swimming pool side or bottom by suction. The device is waterproof and is designed to be engaged by suction by pressing a release button while the flexible disk shaped member is pressed against an underwater pool surface.
