BICYCLE TRAINING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED MOTION
A direct-drive bicycle training system and methods of using the same are provided. The system includes a bicycle trainer that rests on a support surface and supports a bicycle frame in an upright manner with respect to the support surface. The bicycle trainer includes a stator, a rotor that rotates with respect to the stator, a cassette affixed to the rotor, a support frame supporting the stator, rotor, and cassette, and a resistance applying mechanism that operatively couples to a portion of a drivetrain of the bicycle frame and applies varying levels of resistance to the portion of the drivetrain. The support frame moves with respect to the support surface in response to a force applied to the drivetrain of the bicycle frame during use of the bicycle training system, generating a more natural movement of the bicycle and simulating on-road use.
AMBULATION SIMULATION SYSTEMS, TERRAIN SIMULATION SYSTEMS, TREADMILL SYSTEMS, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
In particular embodiments, a treadmill may comprise one or more lifting mechanisms configured to lift and lower a treadmill belt (e.g., adjust an angle of the treadmill belt relative to a support surface) by adjusting a height of the front and rear of the treadmill about a pivot point. In particular embodiments, the pivot point may be positioned somewhat centered along a length of the belt. In particular embodiments, a seesaw arrangement may provide a central pivot point, providing a moment arm to the motor while decreasing a moment arm caused by the load (e.g., a runner). In this way, an apparent load on a motor providing incline and decline to the running surface may be reduced.

System and method for motion analysis
A system for motion analysis includes a sensing device positioned at a knee joint of a bicycle rider, and an electronic device in communication with the sensing device. The electronic device is configured to receive, from the sensing device, a series of pieces of sensed data representing orientations of the sensing device at different times, to determine a motion trajectory of a knee of the rider based on the received pieces of sensed data, and to generate an estimation result regarding correctness of a riding posture of the rider based on the motion trajectory.
System and method for motion analysis
A system for motion analysis includes a sensing device positioned at a knee joint of a bicycle rider, and an electronic device in communication with the sensing device. The electronic device is configured to receive, from the sensing device, a series of pieces of sensed data representing orientations of the sensing device at different times, to determine a motion trajectory of a knee of the rider based on the received pieces of sensed data, and to generate an estimation result regarding correctness of a riding posture of the rider based on the motion trajectory.
Exercise apparatus
An improved exercise equipment including a stationary exercise apparatus, a lever arm pivotably biased about a pivot axis, and a support for supporting the lever arm above the stationary exercise apparatus. The pivot axis extends substantially in a vertical direction. The stationary exercise apparatus is of a type to cause the legs of a user to scissor as the user operates the stationary exercise apparatus. In an exemplary embodiment, the stationary exercise apparatus is a treadmill.
BICYCLE SIMULATOR
A bicycle simulator includes a base portion having a frame shape; a frame support portion supported by the base portion and supporting a bicycle frame connecting a front wheel of a mounted bicycle to a rear wheel of the mounted bicycle; a first treadmill extending in a running direction of the bicycle, supporting the front wheel of the bicycle, and rotating according to rotation of the front wheel; and a second treadmill extending in the running direction of the bicycle, supporting the rear wheel of the bicycle, and rotating according to rotation of the rear wheel, wherein the frame support portion is disposed between the first treadmill and the second treadmill.
Blockchain
