A mobile image capture system, a system comprising: a sensing unit for attaching to a vehicle, the sensing unit having a camera constructed and arranged to view a participant on the vehicle, the camera capturing at least one image; and processing electronics for storing data representing the captured at least one image or for relaying data representing the captured at least one image to a computer or a network.

Exercise device having damped oscillating foot platforms
10124202 · 2018-11-13 ·

An exercise device including two foot platforms riding on elongated rails for longitudinal motion relative thereto. The platforms are directly connected to each other by one or more elastic elements. The platforms are also connected by linear and/or rotary dampers to provide motion damping. In addition, weights and/or flywheels may be used to smooth the oscillations. When the two platforms are side-by-side, the elastic elements run in a substantially crosswise direction. A seated user may place the user's feet on the platforms and move his/her feet and lower legs back and forth in a scissoring motion to move the platforms in opposing directions along the rails. In so doing, the user overcomes the resistance of the elastic elements and dampers connecting the platforms. This provides the user with exercise and its accompanying benefits.

Athletic training method and system for remote video playback
10124235 · 2018-11-13 · ·

A system or method for displaying a video segment recorded by a camera device on a display device disposed remotely from the camera device. Video segments may be transmitted over a network to a remote viewing location. Video segments sent from a plurality of camera devices may be compiled by a server and displayed on a single display device. Video segments may auto-scroll such that a user need not interact with this display device to begin playback of a video segment. The technology may be used for such purposes as an athlete reviewing videos captured by one or more coaches or spectators.

High Precision Trajectory and Speed Sensor and Measuring Method
20180292429 · 2018-10-11 ·

A method for contactlessly determining an exact passage of an athlete at points placed along a track in sports, wherein the method comprises gearing the athlete with a wearable magnetometer sensor unit, whereby the magnetometer sensor unit is equipped with at least a magnetic sensor, a processing unit, and a storage medium; placing at each point at least a permanent magnet in proximity of a track surface of the track. When the athlete moves along the track, the method further comprises recording at the magnetic sensor a signal; detecting for each permanent magnet a disturbance of a local magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet in the recorded signal and measuring the disturbance; mapping of the measured disturbance to a movement speed of the athlete and a distance of the athlete to the magnet corresponding to the local magnetic field; and correcting the movement speed and the distance for a time offset between the magnet passage of an athlete's center of mass and the magnetometer sensor unit.

An exercise device including two foot platforms riding on elongated rails for longitudinal motion relative thereto. The platforms are directly connected to each other by one or more elastic elements. One or more dampers are installed substantially parallel with the elastic elements to oppose the energy return of the elastic elements. When the two platforms are side-by-side, the elastic elements and dampers run in a substantially crosswise direction. A seated user may place feet on the platforms and move his/her feet and lower legs back and forth in a scissoring motion to move the platforms in opposition directions along the rails. Sport pole with sensors and a method for using it
10092817 · 2018-10-09 ·

The present invention relates to a sport stick that measures the driving force generated by the upper body, which is applied to the ground through poles during the natural performance of nordic walking or any other sport, where poles are used to drive/propel the body forward. An inclination sensor along with a pole length sensor (pole length constant in a fixed length pole) has been placed into the pole for the achievement of the most suitable biomechanical performance, i.e. proper technique. The sport pole uses the Global Positioning System along with a topographical map to ensure that the slope of terrain does not affect the inclination sensor measurements. All collected data is analyzed by a control center, wherein correct usage models have been saved along with a collection of the user's anthropometric and fitness levels.
