Cover for hand-held pad used for hitting, punching, or kicking
A cover for a hand-held pad having one or two handles, the cover having interconnected panels that define one or more openings for inserting the pad into the cover and for providing access to the handle(s). In one embodiment, a punch pad has a glove portion, and the cover has a single opening for both inserting the pad into the cover and providing access to the pad glove. In another embodiment, the pad is a kickboxing pad having a hand grip and an arm band, and the pad has three openings: a first for inserting the pad into the cover, a second for accessing the hand grip, and a third for accessing the arm band. The panels are made suitable materials that enable the cover to fit snuggly over the pad where the front panel may be printed or written upon to display an image.
Exercise apparatus having a stair and slide assembly
A stair and slide assembly includes a stair portion including a plurality of stairs, a slide portion including a slide with an entrance and an exit, and an assist bar positioned proximate the exit of the slide to assist a user with pivoting from the exit of the slide to the stair portion. The slide has a first portion extending substantially linearly from the entrance of the slide at an angle and a second portion extending from the first portion to the exit of the slide. The second portion transitions the slide from the angle of the first portion to substantially horizontal. The exit of the slide is configured to be positioned at a target height above a ground surface. The target height is between about 18 inches and about 30 inches.
RING-SHAPED PUNCHBAG WITH INNER PUNCHBALL
Training equipment is described, and in particular training equipment that can be punched for exercise or for training, e.g., by boxers. The training equipment includes an outer ring-shaped punchbag and an inner punchball positioned within an inner opening of the punchbag. The punchball is connected to the punchbag by a pair of flexible elongate members that can be elasticated cords, for example.
HIP ENGAGEMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A method is provided for preventing back injuries related to sport motions or swings that includes setting an attachment height of a distal end of an elastic of a warmup and training device, the attachment height set to define an angle backwards from vertical above center of a practice motion specific to a sport to be practiced, attaching a handle to a proximal end of the elastic where a type of the handle corresponds to the sporting activity to be performed, performing the practice motion while holding the handle and stretching the elastic, and returning to the beginning of the practice motion to repeat the activity.
Blocking pad and a method of use thereof
A system, method, and blocking pad for receiving strikes from a special individual. The blocking pad includes a pad configured to receive the blows from the special individual. The blocking pad further includes a number of handles connected to a back of the pad. The number of handles include at least two handles in a middle portion of the back of the pad and at least a handle at ends of the pad.
Multi-sport training devices, systems, and methods and stands for mounting multi-sport training devices
A multi-sport athletic training device is provided, which is comprised of an elongate hollow container and a packing material. The elongate hollow container has a first end and a second end and is made of a flexible material. The first and second ends are closed to maintain the packing material within the elongate hollow container. The elongate hollow container is at least partially filled with the packing material such that the elongate hollow container absorbs impact and provides resistance. In exemplary embodiments, the packing material is sand. Exemplary embodiments of an athletic training device may further comprise two steel plates closing the first or second end of the container. Methods of manufacturing an athletic training device are also provided. A stand assembly for mounting an athletic training device is also provided.
Boxing practice device
A boxing practice device is provided, including: a support body, including a first support rod, a second support rod which is lateral to the first support rod and a base, the first support rod swingably positioned on the base, the second support rod movably positioned on the first support rod, the second support rod extending along a first rotation axis; a boxing mechanism, including a first boxing member and at least one second boxing member, the first boxing member being rotatably attached to the second support rod and rotatable about the first rotation axis, the at least one second boxing member being detachably assembled to the second support rod.
Exercise Device and Method
Improved exercise assemblies and related methods of use are provided. More particularly, the present disclosure provides advantageous exercise assemblies that are adjustable, changeable and/or rotatable. The present disclosure provides for an exercise assembly that can function as a straight pull-up bar in one arrangement, and can also function as a dynamic, range-of-motion exercise assembly in another arrangement. The exemplary exercise assembly includes an advantageous design that permits users to not only perform straight bar pull-ups, but also allows users to quickly and easily convert the assembly into a two-handled, variable resistance, bicycle-style crank (e.g., a rotating bicycle pull up bar assembly) in which the user rotates two handles of the bar similar to how a cyclist rotates bicycle pedals.
MOVEABLE HEAVY BAG STAND
A bag stand including a base including two or more legs, each of the two or more legs having a first thickness, at least one of the legs being configured to attach to a side brace that extends perpendicularly away from the leg, the side brace comprising a main bar having a second thickness, a support bracket disposed at an intersection of the two or more legs, the support bracket attaching an arm to the two or more legs, and a bag support disposed at a distal end of the arm.
Implement Suspension And Movement System And Associated Devices And Methods
The present disclosure relates to systems, devices, and methods for suspension of implements from a suspended rail. The system comprising a spring loaded braking device and wheel assembly for moving and securing implements at any point along a rail.
