Striking apparatus and configurations thereof
The present disclosure relates to a striking apparatus and provides multiple configurations to that apparatus. More particularly, this disclosure describes the striking apparatus having a rotatable target that may be secured on a door end assembly. In one illustrative embodiment, the target may be coupled to a rotatable member having a plurality of compression loops there between. A support may lock the rotatable member, and thus the target, at an angle through a bolt pattern spaced at forty-five (45) degree to fifteen (15) degree increments. The support may be secured to the door end assembly through at least one clamp and at least one fastener.
Multi-head, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus for use with a slip and counter fight simulation / workout machine or stand alone device for fight simulation
A free standing fight simulation workout machine with a fight simulation multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus is adapted to be used in conjunction with a slip and counter fight simulation apparatus or stand alone apparatus. The fight simulation multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed apparatus includes a multi-headed member having at least one head attached to at least one abdomen and at least one arm having a glove appending member. Preferably, multiple heads are attached to multiple abdomens with multiple arm pairs to provide different punch configurations for the user to strike at. The multi-headed, multi-abdomen, multi-armed provides various angles adapted for a user to punch, knee, and/or do a flying knee.
Impact-Absorbing Mechanism
A portable, impact-absorbing apparatus having a striking portion, an energy-absorbing portion, and a mounting portion. The striking portion may be a padded plate and the mounting portion may be a collar that may mount to the vertical frame member of a squat rack. The energy-absorbing portion may be an insert that slides into the barrel of a hollow sleeve in which a spring is disposed. The sleeve may have slots in the top and bottom for bolts or pins, which are inserted therethrough for attachment to the insert, to define the longitudinal limits of the insert's extension.
STRIKING ASSEMBLY
A striking assembly for martial arts training is provided. The striking assembly includes a base plate configured to be secured to the ground, a support unit having a support plate and a post extending from the support plate, and a striking unit having a main body configured to receive a portion of the post and a striking pad covering at least a portion of the main body. The support plate and the base plate are connected by three or more resiliently deformable isolators. In response to striking impacts, the isolators resiliently deform to create a deflection angle between a normal to the support plate and a normal to the base plate, and resiliently return to their undeformed dimensions at the conclusion of the striking impact such that the normal to the support plate returns to being substantially parallel to the normal to the base plate.
Selectable speed bag support apparatus
A selectable support apparatus for a speed bag includes a rigid planar element having first and second end portions with a longitudinal axis therebetween, the rigid planar element also includes a first and second margins with a transverse axis therebetween. The rigid planar element having a rebound surface for the speed bag and an opposing work surface with a centerline axis therebetween. The rigid planar element also includes an elongated aperture that is disposed therethrough the rigid planar element wherein the elongated aperture is positioned parallel to and along the longitudinal axis. The elongated aperture extends for a portion of the rigid planar element as between the first and second end portions. Also, the elongated aperture extends from the rebound surface to the work surface along the centerline axis. In addition, the work surface includes a mechanism for suspending and moving the speed bag therethrough and along the elongated aperture.
Timing ball
A striking apparatus for all fighting art forms such as boxing to improve a user's fighting skills. The striking apparatus includes a timing ball having a link disposed thereon; an elongated adjustable rope; a swivel mounted to a swivel plate, the swivel plate being mounted to a backboard; the backboard being attached to a frame; the link disposed on the timing ball being attached to the elongated adjustable rope, the rope being attached to the swivel; and the timing ball configured to be struck by the knuckles of a user's fist. Another embodiment of the invention includes a punching apparatus station for all fighting art forms which generally includes the same configuration as the striking apparatus referenced-above. Importantly, the striking apparatus advantageously is a cross between a speed bag, a double end bag, and a maze ball but is beneficially more effective than all three.
Punching Bag System
A strike training attachment for a heavy bag may include a ball member sized according to the diameter of a typical adult human fist. The ball member may be resilient. The strike training attachment includes a loop member disposed on an outer surface of the ball member. The loop member may be attachably co-operable with a hang-mounting member of a heavy bag.
UNDERWATER STRIKING BAG DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An underwater striking bag device includes a bag having an annular upper compartment disposed in an upper section of the bag and receiving air therein, a neck extending through the upper section and communicating with a lower compartment receiving water therein, a weight in the bottom section, a removable cap connected to the neck, an air valve connected to the annular upper compartment to provide for filling air into the annular upper compartment, at least one handle connected to the bag for assisting in filling and removal of water into the lower compartment as well as exercising by grabbing the handles and pushing, pulling, and lifting the bag during a workout.
