A golf club attachment. The golf club attachment includes a housing having an open upper end, an open lower end, and at least one sidewall extending therebetween to define an interior volume. The interior volume can receive a handle of a golf club therein. A grip is affixed to the housing, wherein the grip extends perpendicularly away from the housing at the open lower end. A strap is affixed to the housing at the open upper end, wherein the strap can removably secure the housing to an arm of a user.

Bowling Ball Launcher

A bowling ball launcher has a frame and a rail oriented from a front of the frame to a back of the frame. A push pad is configured to slide along the rail. An elastic mechanism is coupled to the push pad and extends toward the front of the frame. A winch is coupled to the push pad toward the back of the frame. The winch includes a motor, a winch wheel, and a cable extending from the winch wheel to the push pad. The winch also includes a clutch between the motor and winch wheel. A shock absorber is disposed near the front of the frame. A plurality of position sensors is attached to the frame along the rail. A power meter is configured to move the push pad to one of the position sensors by operation of the winch.

Portable physical and occupational therapy systems and methods

Portable physical and occupational therapy systems and methods with an adjustable balance pole assembly utilized as a target in combination with a number of manipulable objects, such as rings, that engage the target, for the purpose of exercising patients through a range of motions and through a range of cognitive actions. A basic therapy tool set incorporates a target pole of variable height, pivotally positioned on a target base. Each therapy tool set includes a number of therapy rings sized and structured to engage the target pole. The angle of the target pole may be varied by releasing a pole angle lock. The basic therapy tool set may be utilized alone or in combination with additional sets. A basic kit that may be utilized by a therapist could preferably involve three complete therapy tool sets assembled and positioned in an array around a therapy patient.

Swimming fin for the disabled

The swimming fin for the disabled includes a flipper pivotally attached to a lower end of a post, the post having a handle on the end opposite the flipper. A strap is pivotally attached to a middle section of the post for securing the post to a user's leg. A user attaches the device to themselves by inserting their foot in the flipper, connecting the strap to their leg, and gripping the handle. When in the water, pushing the handle out from a user's chest and then pulling the handle back to the chest will cause a motion in the user's leg similar to a leg kick, thus allowing a user with limited or no function in their legs to propel him/herself in the water.

Grip Aid

In the case of a tool with a grip, it is expected to be easy to handle and useful to prevent from slipping.

According to the present invention, while the grip is held firmly with the fingers and palm, it is possible to turn the grip by the specific finger or part of the palm, by pushing the mound within a range of movement of the mound, in hitting a ball back, providing the grip aid required to lower the load on the shoulder and forearm, and offer a health boost.

BOWLING BALL PUSH DEVICE
20180311564 · 2018-11-01 ·

A device for pushing a bowling ball with finger holes. The device includes a pole with a grip end and an opposite distal end. A push direction is defined from the grip end to the distal end and a withdrawal direction is defined from the distal end to the grip end. A plurality of fingers is configured to be received within the finger holes of the bowling ball, each having a base end and an opposite tip end. A pole coupler couples the fingers to the distal end of the pole such that when the fingers are received in finger holes, each finger is translationally movable relative to the finger holes only in the withdrawal direction. The device is configured to push the bowling ball by positioning the fingers into the finger holes, pushing the pole in the push direction, and retracting the pole in the withdrawal direction.

SUPPORT HARNESS
20180303701 · 2018-10-25 ·

A system for coupling a user to a support apparatus includes a harness for the user, a hoist, and frame. The harness and the hoist have co-operable attachment means for releasably coupling the harness to the hoist. The frame is configured to receive the user, where the harness and the frame have co-operable attachment means for releasably coupling the harness to the frame.

EXERCISE MACHINE

An exercise machine has a mobile base and an upright support extending upwards from the mobile base. An upper support assembly extends forward from an upper portion of the upright support and an exercise device is suspended from the upper support assembly at a location spaced forward from the upright support. The exercise machine may include a compact and safe counterbalancing gas spring mechanism that tends to move the exercise device away from the exerciser, and that requires a force to be applied to move an exercise device down towards the exerciser. The exercise machine may include an exercise device that is rotatable along a vertical axis, and may be coupled to an adjustable monitor for a wide range of uses. The exercise machine may be used by a exerciser lying supine, sitting in a chair or wheelchair, or standing in front of or adjacent the exercise machine.

ADAPTERS FOR USE WITH DYNAMOMETER FOR SUBJECTS HAVING LIMB IMPAIRMENT
20180289331 · 2018-10-11 ·

Attachments for isokinetic dynamometers and methods of use thereof are provided for use with subjects having limb impairments. An example dynamometer attachment for use with a subject having an impaired limb includes a frame that has fixed thereto a padded limb support, where the padded limb support is configured to secure an impaired limb of the subject. The padded limb support includes a securing mechanism for securing the impaired limb relative to the frame, and the frame is connected to the dynamometer lever arm via an intermediate connector assembly. The connector assembly permits translation of the padded limb support in at least two dimensions relative to the lever arm prior to securing the frame fixedly in place. The translation adjustability of the attachment facilitates the alignment of the dynamometer attachment to the limb or partial limb of the subject without requiring movement of the subject.
