Group exercise device
11697044 · 2023-07-11 ·

A group exercise device is provided. The device has a top where a person exercising can obtain balance and positional support during the exercise routine. In addition, the exercise device provides different points of attachment for exercise units. The attachment points vary in vertical placement measured from the floor such that individuals of different builds and heights can jointly use the unit during either solo or group routines. The exercise device of the present invention promotes group interaction during an exercise routine by providing a stable attachment point for multiple users of exercise units, such as resistance bands, and a balance bar accessible in a communal fashion.

An exercise workstation includes a treadmill, a pedal exercise device disposed on or next to the treadmill, and a chair pivotally secured to the exercise workstation. The chair can be repositioned relative to the treadmill, such as above or to the side of the treadmill. A pivot arm is pivotally connected to a pivot joint to permit multiple positional adjustments of the chair. The pivot joint may be connected to the treadmill in fixed or movable position. The exercise workstation may include or be positioned adjacent to one or more work surfaces, such as a height adjustable desk or table.

Treadmill having two belts

A treadmill may include two separate left and right belts rotating around two sets of rollers, four legs having an adjustable height via air suspension to customize an inclination of the treadmill, a thermoelectric assembly, a fragrance assembly having a rotating fragrance cartridge to emit various smells toward a user of the treadmill, a display on which exercise programs are played, and an attachment module having a dispensing tray on which treats are dispensed. A handle of the treadmill may have a sensor to sense a height and front-rear position, and a belt divider provided between the left and right belts may have position or proximity sensors to sense a left-right position. An inclination of the treadmill may be automatically adjusted according to positions detected by the sensors, and the fragrance assembly, attachment module, and inclination may be automatically operated in accordance with an exercise program played on the display.

Fitness device for training the whole body

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fitness device for training the whole body. The device has coaxially arranged one above the other tubular elements of the same diameter, and an inner body disposed in cavities defined by the tubular elements. At the base of the inner body is a drive motor, providing rotational movement of the lower tubular element and the part of the inner body disposed in its cavity, which transmits the rotational movement and of the part of the inner body disposed in the cavity, by a spindle, at least two obstacles with identical construction respectively lower and upper, each magnetically connected to a sliding means, respectively detachably connected to sliders and of the inner body and a cover.

Treadmill speed control
11691047 · 2023-07-04 ·

A speed control system and method for controlling the speed of an endless belt loop of a treadmill. The speed control system comprises a plurality of image sensors, each image sensor configured to take an image of a user of the treadmill; and a controller configured to control the speed of the endless belt loop by (a) receiving the images of the user taken by the image sensors, (b) rectifying the images based on a calibration of the image sensors, (c) comparing the images to form a disparity map, (d) determining a distance of a user of the treadmill relative to the treadmill using the disparity map, and (e) calculating velocity or acceleration of the treadmill based on the determined distance of the user.

Shock absorbing system

[Problem to be Solved] Provided is an exercise apparatus which can suppress positional displacement when a user is jiggling. [Solution] The exercise apparatus 1 includes: a main body part 5 which has a placement part (smooth surface 5a), on which both legs of a user are placed, and an arc part 5b (curved surface) and rotationally moves over a predetermined range by alternate movement of the legs of the user placed on the placement part; and restraining means which restrains movement of the main body part 5 within a horizontal plane. The restraining means has a groove part 5c which is formed by removing a portion of the arc part 5b of the main body part 5 and a columnar body 3 which is fitted into the groove part 5c.

SMART WEIGHT SYSTEM

A weight system may include a concentric weight plate, a weight body, a locking mechanism, and a handle. The weight body may define a cavity. The locking mechanism may be disposed within the cavity. The locking mechanism may be configured to selectively attach the concentric weight plate to the weight body. The handle may be coupled to the weight body and configured to permit a user to move the weight system as a single unit.

Treadmill Multipurpose Safety System
20220401813 · 2022-12-22 ·

The present invention relates to a safety system for treadmills. The safety system includes at least one load/weight sensor and a small switch disposed within the base of the treadmill. The system also includes a comparator for comparing the weight of a user standing on the treadmill, and an input weight of the user displayed on a dashboard of the treadmill. The safety system allows the treadmill to activate only when the weight of the user is equal or more than the selected weight on the dashboard. The system can be integrated into a treadmill during manufacturing or can be retrofitted to existing treadmills. The system also controls various variables such as speed, duration and inclination of the treadmill.

WALKING STATE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, WALKING STATE MEASUREMENT METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM

A walking state measurement system includes: an endless belt that defines a walking surface on which a subject walks and that travels along a walking front-rear direction; a marker provided on at least the walking surface along a circumferential direction of the belt; a first camera for taking an image of the subject from front, the first camera taking an image of the marker on the walking surface from above to generate a first image; a second camera for taking an image of the subject from front, the second camera taking an image of the marker on the walking surface from above to generate a second image; and a correction processing unit that corrects an image generated by at least either the first camera or the second camera based on a position of an image area of the marker included in each of the first image and the second image.
