Sports Training apparatus
A sports training apparatus for training athletes to deliver a ball or other object at an appropriate arc. The sports training apparatus includes an adjustable horizontal target that is positioned between the athlete and the target. It gives guidance to the athlete at the time of release. The athlete's height, game being played, desired arc, technique employed and position on the court determine the appropriate configuration, placement, and use of the sports training apparatus described herein. Athletes use the sports training apparatus repeatedly to train, learn, and be able to repeat the desired arc for a particular shot in their sport.
BALL COLLECTION APPARATUS
Ball collection apparatus and methods for forming ball collection apparatus are disclosed. In one aspect, a ball collection apparatus includes a netting body that includes netting, edges around a perimeter of the netting, and corners along the perimeter of the netting at intersections of the edges, the edges including a front edge, a back edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge, a plurality of connectors attached to the netting body at the corners of the netting body, a plurality of fasteners attached to the netting body, and a guiding device operably coupled to the netting proximate an aperture defined by the netting, the guiding device having a weight to produce a slope in the netting sufficient to guide a sport ball to exit the netting body via the aperture.
Systems and methods for volleyball scorekeeping
The scorekeeping system includes a plurality of scoring elements. An upper bracket can be secured a first string having a first portion of the plurality scoring elements and a second string having a second portion of the plurality of scoring elements. The first string can have a first thread and a second thread, each of the first thread and the second thread being threaded through the first portion of the plurality of the scoring elements. The second string can have a third thread and a fourth thread, each of the third thread and fourth thread being threaded through the second portion of the plurality of the scoring elements.
Portable target game with collecting unit
A portable target game that can be set up and played anywhere. The game consists of moving targets within a concave backstop, the moving targets being attached to flexible rods such that hits on target fall into the base of the concave backstop. The game is meant to be played with existing, lightweight projectiles such as NERF guns and plastic balls. The concave backstop is foldable such that the game can be folded up with all of the projectiles inside, and disassembled for convenient storage.
Vehicle with ballet barre
A mobile ballet barre apparatus includes a motor vehicle having a driver's seat and a passenger cabin behind the driver's seat, the passenger cabin disposed between opposed elongated sides of the vehicle. The vehicle is configured to travel on ground. The apparatus also includes an elongated ballet barre mounted to a frame of the vehicle on at least one of the elongated sides, each ballet barre extending longitudinally along a longitudinal first axis that is substantially parallel to the side of the vehicle to which it is mounted and substantially parallel to the ground vertically above which it extends in spaced apart relation.
GAME PLAYING APPARATUS
Embodiments of the invention as described herein relate to a game with one or more vertical hoops on a pole. The apparatus is typically setup in the center of the playing area, and may involve two teams, or two players whose goal is to through objects such as balls through the hoop or hoops to win. Sensors placed in close proximity to the hoop or hoops display the score on a scoreboard.
