MOBILE OUTDOOR GYM AND RESISTANCE WEIGHT TRAINING EQUIPMENT
The present invention provides a sports equipment training device, comprising a mounting member, configured to mount the device to a vehicle hitch or to a wall mount, wherein the mounting member has a horizontal hitch or mount receiver portion and a vertical main connector portion configured to receive and connect to a base upright support post; one or more upright support posts, starting with a first upright support post comprising a base upright support post, with each additional upright support post fitting into or over the immediate lower upright support post; one or more anchor loops, wherein the one or more anchor loops may be affixed to one or more of the one or more upright support posts.
COURT EDGE ENHANCEMENT
An apparatus or system for enhancing an edge of a sporting court may include a first surface configured to engage with a surface of the sporting court and a second surface coupled to the first surface and configured to receive a ball and retain the ball in engagement with the second surface. The second surface may comprise a plurality of sub-surfaces, wherein one of the sub-surfaces may comprise a radial curve or at least one peak and at least one trough. The apparatus may comprise a retaining mechanism configured to retain at least one of the first surface or the second surface adjacent a court edge barrier.
Constant resistance generating exercise machine
A constant resistance exercise machine for sprint training or adaptation into exercise equipment having cyclical movements, preferably over a distance. The constant resistance exercise machine includes an exercise cable storage and feed reel, a constant tension spring motor, a resistance generating assembly, a flywheel, and an exercise cable. The constant tension spring motor is in operational communication with the exercise cable reel. The flywheel obtains a rotational resistance from the resistance generating assembly. The flywheel is in unidirectional rotational communication with the exercise cable reel via a one-way clutch bearing. The exercise cable is coiled about the exercise cable reel. The exercise cable is of a length that enables complete extraction of the cable from the exercise cable storage and feed reel and wherein the constant tension spring motor is arranged to retract a partially or completely extracted cable back onto the exercise cable reel.
Adjustable resistance weight sled with bias correction, wheel skid control, and omni-directional motion
A weight sled that allows both linear and non-linear movements such that resistance training can be performed in the frontal, sagittal, and combined frontal/sagittal planes, and which allows easy movement for transportation, storage, and retrieval from storage. The weight sled uses one or more swiveling, pivoting, or omni-directional wheels that allow all or a portion of the sled to be moved laterally. The addition of wheel configurations allowing of lateral movement of all of, or a portion of, the weight sled greatly expands the utility of weight sleds because movement in any direction can be trained, whether in the sagittal body plane (forward/backward movements), the frontal body plane (lateral movements), or a combination of the two. Additionally, the plurality of wheel configurations allows for a variety of storage arrangements.
System and method for improving a basketball player's shooting by facilitating creation and revision of a customized basketball practice arrangement
A user interface includes a plurality of pass receipt locations rendered at spaced positions on or adjacent to the rendering of a three-point line to correspond with pass receipt locations on a basketball playing surface. Each pass receipt location is individually and directly selected by physical touch to define a custom basketball practice arrangement which is programmed into a control system to cause an ejector mounted to a frame to launch at least one basketball to each selected location.
OUTDOOR BODY-SUSPENSION DEVICE
An outdoor body-suspension device (100) having two ropes (11) connected to each other at one end thereof, a connector (15), for connecting the ropes to a stationary facility, each of the ropes having a rigid handle assembly (12) including (a) a chassis (20), (b) a fastener connected to the chassis, for fastening the handle assembly to a rope, (c) a releasing mechanism of the fastener, and (d) a handle (16), where in one configuration the fastener includes two ribbed grasping jaws (18a, 18b) for grasping a rope, and a releasing mechanism, and in another configuration the fastener includes a spring (19) applying force on one of the grasping-jaws against the other grasping-jaw, and a button (17) such that pushing the button results in a loosening of a grasp of the grasping-jaws on each other.
Vertically and Corner-Oriented High-Definition Pylon-Mounted Cameras
A pylon-mounted camera assembly, comprising a pylon, the pylon comprising a first face, a second face, a third face and a fourth face, the first fact adjacent to the second face such that the first and second faces form a first corner, the third face adjacent to the fourth face such that the third and fourth faces form a second corner, wherein a diagonal axis intersects the first and second corners; a first aperture at least partially embedded within the first corner of the pylon; and, a first camera adjustably positioned within the first aperture, the first camera facing upwardly, the first camera comprising an optical axis wherein the optical axis is adjustably arranged to intersect the diagonal axis of the pylon.
UNIVERSAL TRAMPOLINE BACKBOARD MOUNT
A universal trampoline backboard mount has a backboard. The backboard includes a hoop connection configured for receiving a basketball hoop. A right post has a right post upper connector and a right post lower connector. A right upper line connects to the right post upper connector. The right upper line connects to the backboard. A right lower line connects to the right post lower connector. The right lower line connects to the backboard. The right lower line is mounted below the right upper line. A right enclosure pole adapter connects the right post to an upper end of a right enclosure pole. A left post has a left post upper connector and a left post lower connector. A left upper line connects to the left post upper connector and the right side is symmetrical to the left side.
Athletic Training System and Method
An athletic training system has a data recording system and a data engine. The data recording system is configured to record an athletic competition event. The event may have a first team of players competing against a second team of players. The data engine is configured to receive data associated with the recorded athletic competition event. The data engine processes the data and displays the data as a replay of the event in animated form.
