Portable table attachable and detachable from the interior trim of a vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a portable table (1) and to an interior trim assembly for a vehicle, the interior trim assembly comprising an interior trim section (60) and a portable table releasably attachable to the interior trim section, wherein in a stowage state the portable table is integrated with the interior trim section, and in a detached state the portable table is detached from the interior trim section for use as a table.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a display panel; a frame positioned in a rear of the display panel and coupled to the display panel; a bottom frame coupled to a lower side of the frame; a plate positioned in a rear of the frame and hinge-coupled to the bottom frame; and a coupler positioned adjacent to an upper side of the frame and between the plate and the frame and enabling the plate to be detachable from the frame.
Aircraft cabin apparatus including personal electronic device holder
An aircraft cabin apparatus may include a top section, a bottom section, and at least one linkage assembly configured to support the top section in an open position following a rotation of the top section between a closed position and the open position. The top section may include a top surface configured to engage a first edge or surface of a laptop and a support structure proximate to the top surface and configured to engage a second edge or surface of the laptop. The bottom section may include two raised portions along each short edge of the bottom section and a cavity defined by the two raised portions. The top section may be configured to fit within the cavity defined within the bottom section when in the closed position, and may be set at an angle relative to the bottom section when in the open position.
INTERACTIVE MAPPING FOR PASSENGERS IN COMMERCIAL PASSENGER VEHICLE
A system for providing entertainments to passengers on a commercial passenger vehicle is disclosed. The system comprises a computer storage medium configured to store personal information and travel information of passengers and a server in communication with the computer storage medium and located in the commercial passenger vehicle. The server is configured to receive, from a media playback device associated with a passenger, a request on an entertainment option; obtain, based on the request, contents corresponding to the entertainment option and related to the personal information or the travel information of the passengers; obtain map data that visualizes the contents on areas on a map based on location information associated with the contents; and send, to the media playback device, the contents to be displayed on the media playback device using the map data.
PREDICTIVE PREFERENCE SELECTION FOR IN-VEHICLE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS
Devices, systems and methods for providing customized entertainment or productivity options to passengers on commercial passenger vehicles are disclosed. An exemplary method implemented by a computer on a commercial passenger vehicle includes receiving and storing from a server system communication on a memory and a display screen of a portable device of a passenger, prior to a start of a current travel segment of the commercial passenger vehicle, data for predictive preference selection during the current travel segment; determining, during the current travel segment, for the passenger, a personalized display menu of the passenger for one or more items or services from a plurality of items and services; and providing, during the travel segment, an interactive session having the personalized display menu based on the traveler profile and displayed on the display screen for the passenger on the portable device based on the determining.
RECONFIGURABLE MODULAR IN-VEHICLE ENTERTAINMENT MONITOR SYSTEMS
In-vehicle entertainment (WE) monitor systems can be reconfigurable and modular to improve heat dissipation characteristics and to enable separate removal or installation of one or more parts within the WE monitor system without affecting the rest of the IVE monitor system. A modular system for providing in-vehicle entertainment to passengers on a commercial passenger vehicle includes a main housing, a peripheral housing, and a display panel that are separately removable or installable. A main printed circuit board (PCB) in the main housing is electrically connected to a secondary PCB in the peripheral housing via the first data cable and the secondary PCB is electrically connected to the display panel via the second data cable in a series configuration.
Retractable portable electronic device holder
An apparatus and method for securely holding a Portable Electronic Device (PED). The PED holder is integrated with furniture viewable by a potential user and configured with a support structure couplable to an existing portion of the furniture. The support structure holds a retractable, spring-loaded extension member biased for retraction. Empty, the extension member automatically retracts proximal with the housing of the support structure. Extended, with a PED in place, the retraction bias allows for securely clamping a plurality of sizes of PED.
PED holder arm concept
Described is a passenger seat having a supporting device for holding a portable electronic device coupled to a seat back of the passenger seat. The support includes at least one arm having a first position and a second position, and a base coupled to the arm, having a stowed position and a deployed position. In the first position, the arm may be oriented along the seat back and in the second position the arm may extend away from the seat back such that the base is spaced away from the seat back. In the deployed position, the base may extend from an end of the arm such that the base is positioned at a non-zero angle with respect to the arm.
HEADREST COVER HOLDER SYSTEM
A cover for a seat having a headrest includes a stabilizing bracket member that enables a secure attachment of an electronic device for use by a passenger behind the seat. In one embodiment, the cover includes a sleeve defining a chamber, a first opening to the chamber, and a second opening to the chamber. The chamber is sized and shaped to at least partially contain the headrest. The first opening is sized and positioned such that at least a portion of the headrest is insertable into the chamber through the first opening. The stablizing bracket member defines an aperture and is attached to the sleeve such that the aperture is aligned with the second opening so that the second opening is unobstructed.
Apparatus for holding a portable electronic device
A device holder that may be used as a freestanding device or may hang from a surface. The device holder allows the portable electronic device (PED) to be adjusted to multiple viewing angles. The device holder includes three (3) general components: a connector that hangs or hooks onto a surface, a support wall to lean the PED against, and a base to support the bottom of the PED. The three (3) components may be coupled to each other with hinge and/or linking mechanisms. The hinge and/or linking mechanisms may be removable, such that the components may couple and decouple from each other. The hinge or linking mechanisms may allow the angles between the components to be adjusted and/or the device holder to fold flat. The device holder may include securing means to secure the PED against the support wall.
