The present invention provides an aircraft passenger accommodation unit comprising a seat, a shell that allows a passenger egress between an aisle and the seat through an opening, and a door assembly comprising a door slidable with respect to the shell between a retracted position and an extended position, a slide track attached to the shell, a slide runner for sliding along the slide track, and a connection mechanism for selectively connecting the door to the slide runner, wherein the door has a first sliding mode in which the connection mechanism connects the door to the slide runner and wherein the slide runner slides along the slide track, and a second sliding mode in which the connection mechanism does not connect the door to the slide runner and wherein the door slides in relation to the slide track. The invention also provides a door arrangement and associated methods.

An aircraft interior structure for an aircraft cabin may include a main body with a plurality of walls, where at least one wall of the plurality of walls may be shared with an adjacent passenger suite including an aircraft seat. The passenger suite may be installed at an angle relative to an aisle of the aircraft cabin. The aircraft interior structure may include a cavity defined within the main body. The cavity may be a trapezoidal shape defined at least in part by the angle at which the passenger suite is installed in the aircraft cabin. The cavity may be configured to receive a plurality of galley carts. A length of each of the plurality of galley carts may be dependent on a depth of the cavity at respective locations in the trapezoidal shape.

The connecting structure creates gaps between the cover plates, and the volume of the gaps makes up at least 50% of the volume between the cover sheets of the compound sheet component.

Further, each of the lower seating suit and the upper seating suit of each structural unit may include an integrated seat pan and extension positioned in same for optionally configuring the respective seating suite in either the upright seating position or the lie-flat seating position.

An object of the invention is to provide privacy and limit distraction to a child passenger at rest in an economy airline seat.
