Adapter plate for an aircraft seat
An adapter plate for an aircraft seat may include a body configured to be positioned exterior of an armrest of the aircraft seat within a space proximate to the aircraft seat. The body may include at least one coupler configured to attach to the aircraft seat. The body may include at least one mount point. The at least one mount point of the body may be configured to attach to at least one mount bracket of the removable auxiliary aircraft accessory. The auxiliary aircraft accessory may be positioned within the space proximate to the aircraft seat when coupled to the at least one mount point of the body via the at least one mount bracket.
PASSENGER SEAT ARRANGEMENT, PASSENGER SEAT SYSTEM AND AIRCRAFT CABIN REGION HAVING A PASSENGER SEAT ARRANGEMENT
A passenger seat arrangement for installation in an aircraft comprises at least one seating unit comprising a backrest element and a seat element pivotable relative to the backrest element between a resting position and a position of use. The passenger seat arrangement also has a support frame which bears against the at least one seating unit and which is able to be connected in a load-bearing manner to a structure of the aircraft. The support frame has at least one mechanical interface which, in each case, is assigned to a seating unit and is designed to fasten different mutually exchangeable modular units in a releasable and load-transmitting manner to the support frame.
AFT ROW CLOSET WITH WHEELCHAIR ACCOMMODATION AND BASSINET MOUNT
A layout for a tapering rear section of an aircraft passenger cabin. The layout includes a seat row positioned between an aisle and an exterior wall, and a closet positioned behind the seat row. A first portion of the closet extends behind the seat row and a second portion of the closet extends into gap space formed between an outboard side of the seat row and the exterior wall. The closet forms interior space dimensioned, for example, to accommodate a folded wheelchair positioned along the exterior wall, as well as interior space behind the seat row. The second portion further forms an exterior surface for use by a passenger in the seat row, for instance a horizontal surface including a provision for mounting a bassinet. The interior space is accessible from the rear facing side of the closet to facilitate stowing and retrieving items from the interior space.
CHAIR SYSTEMS AND METHOD
A chair system and method; the chair system includes a chair assembly having a body including a seat portion, a sheet attachment, a leg-support member, at least one leg, and a seat-fastener. The chair assembly is useful for removably coupling to a seat and supporting a user in a comfortable position.
APPARATUS FOR CREATING A SLEEPING SURFACE
A sleeping apparatus comprising a textile fiber shell, a plurality of adjustable straps coupled to the textile fiber shell and a plurality of anchors, wherein each anchor is coupled to one of the plurality of adjustable straps, wherein the anchors are configured to attach to one or more structures such that the textile fiber shell forms a flat sleeping surface.
RECONFIGURABLE AIRCRAFT SEAT ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to an aircraft seat arrangement that is reconfigurable between a plurality of usable configurations. The aircraft seat arrangement comprises a seat having a forward seat portion (10) and a rearward seat portion (12). The forward seat portion (10) is reconfigurable between a first configuration whereby the forward seat portion (10) is in a side by side configuration with the rearward seat portion (12), and a second configuration wherein the forward seat portion (10) is displaced to be at least partially above the rearward seat portion (12).
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly with a first seat row that includes a first seat row, and a second seat row including a second seat and located behind the first seat row so that the second seat is located behind the first seat. The first seat has a seating surface provided by a seat structure, and a backrest. The backrest has a vertical pivot axis and is pivotable about the pivot axis, and includes two vertical lateral edges, the horizontal connection of which defines a transverse direction and between which a central line of the backrest is defined in the center. The pivot axis is formed by a vertical axis and is arranged in a position which is displaced from the central line of the backrest in the transverse direction. Pivoting the backrest about the pivot axis releases the seating surface of the first seat for a user of the second seat.
Child Airplane Lap Restraint Device
A child airplane lap restraint device for securing a child close to a parent or adult during air travel. The device includes a parent/adult portion that includes a comfortable, padded belt segment that wraps around the parent's abdomen, equipped with airplane seat-compatible buckles for secure fastening. A pair of cross shoulder straps extend from the belt for a snug fit around the parent/adult. A child portion includes a triangular front surface that provides crucial support to the child's back, with leg loops for extended leg comfort. A pair of child-supporting shoulder straps secure around the parent's shoulders. A pair of buckles connect the parent and child portions and are designed to absorb and distribute forces during sudden movements, thereby maintaining the child's position in the parent's lap.
INFLATABLE AIRCRAFT MATTRESS
An inflatable aircraft mattress comprising an inflatable mattress section having a first chamber, the mattress section capable of being longitudinally aligned on an aircraft seat, the mattress section having a top sleeping surface; an inflatable base section having a second chamber, the base section vertically aligned on a front portion of the aircraft seat, the base section including two opposite non-inflatable wall sections; an inflatable height adjustment section having a third chamber, the height adjustment section is attached to the base section; a plurality of inflation valves positioned on the inflatable aircraft mattress enabling air to enter the first, second, and third chamber; a plurality of deflation valves positioned on the inflatable aircraft mattress enabling air to exit the first, second, and third chamber.
Re-configurable passenger bench seat
A passenger bench seat comprises a backrest, a seat element, a fastening rail which extends substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the seat element in the region of an edge of the seat element that faces towards the backrest, and a seatbelt system. In a first configuration of the passenger bench seat, the seatbelt system includes a first number of seatbelts which are detachably fastened to the fastening rail in first positions which are adapted to the first configuration of the passenger bench seat. In a second configuration of the passenger bench seat, on the other hand, the seatbelt system includes a second number of seatbelts which are detachably fastened to the fastening rail in second positions which are adapted to the second configuration of the passenger bench seat.
