An object of the present invention is to provide a seat unit structure, a seat unit, and an attachment method thereof in which component reinstallation does not arise when the seat unit is attached in an aircraft. One representative seat unit structure according to the present invention relates to a seat unit structure configured to support a seat, wherein the structure has a lower structure having a monocoque structure and defines an outermost shell in at least one direction of the seat unit. That is, the member mounted in the one direction of the seat unit can be stored inside the outermost shell of the structure. In addition, the one direction is the width direction of the airframe.
Passenger entertainment device, passenger seat arrangement and vehicle
A passenger entertainment device operated by a controller associated with a vehicle passenger seat. The passenger seat includes a seat, a backrest and a pocket in a back surface of the backrest facing away from the seat. The entertainment device includes a base, a display attached to a base front surface and a cover pivotably attached to the base pivotable between a first position, in which the cover covers the display, and a second position, in which the cover exposes the display. A first fastener of the entertainment device is configured to interact with a second fastener on the seat to define a fastening system for detachably fastening the cover to the seat backrest when the cover is arranged in its second position and inserted into the seat pocket, while the base is arranged outside of the pocket with the display facing away from the seat backrest.
Augmented reality system for pilot and passengers
An aircraft having an augmented reality flight control system integrated with and operable from the pilot seat and an associated pilot headgear unit, wherein the flight control system is supplemented by flight-assisting artificial intelligence and geo-location systems is presented. The present disclosure includes an augmented reality flight control system incorporating real-world objects with virtual elements to provide relevant data to a pilot during aircraft flight. A translucent substrate is disposed in the pilot's field of view such that the pilot can see therethrough, and observe virtual elements displayed on the substrate. The system includes a headgear that is worn by the pilot. A flight assistance module is configured to receive data related to the aircraft and provide predictive assistance to the pilot during flight based on the received data based in part on a pilot profile having preferences related to the pilot.
Passenger seat voice communication system
A passenger seat voice communication system (100) for a passenger seat of a passenger vehicle includes a first communication device (102A) that supports voice communication. The first communication (102A) device includes a receiver (108) and a video monitor (110). The system includes a second communication device (102B) configured to support voice communication at a second passenger seat. The system also includes a controller (104) that receives from the first communication device (102A) a selection and request to establish voice communication with the second passenger seat, and sends the request to the second communication device (102B). If the request is accepted by the second communication device (102B), the controller (104) establishes voice communication between the first communication device (102A) and the second communication device (102B).
Aircraft seat, aircraft seat arrangement with an aircraft seat and aircraft with an aircraft seat arrangement
An aircraft seat with a voltage supply port associated only with the aircraft seat and/or a data port associated only with the aircraft seat, a voltage supply unit, associated with the aircraft seat and including a voltage input and a voltage output, each of which is connected to another of the voltage supply ports, a switching circuit associated only with the aircraft seat and hooked up between the voltage output and the voltage supply port and/or between the data port and a data network, with which each of the voltage supply port or each of the data port can be activated or deactivated. A control unit is associated only with the aircraft seat and connected to the switching circuit, and a near-field communication reading device connected to the control unit and associated only with the aircraft seat for wireless reception of signals from an external near-field communication sending device, wherein the reading device can receive signals from a predetermined group of predetermined near-field communication signals, and the reading device and control unit adapted for the control unit to activate at least one of the voltage supply ports and/or at least one of the data ports only upon reception of one of the signals by the switching circuit in dependence on the received signal.
ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND ALLOCATION METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTING ELECTRICAL POWER
An electrical power distribution system has a converter module having a converter to convert AC voltage from AC voltage sources to DC voltage and provide DC voltage power with adjustable maximum power values at electrical output interfaces of the converter module to a maximum module power value. It includes a power profile management device to negotiate individual power profiles with electrical consumers connectable to the electrical output interfaces, according to which individual power profiles electrical power up to a negotiated maximum power value is provided by the converter via the electrical output interface. The device detects instantaneous actual power consumption with which an individually negotiated power profile and calculates a power reserve value of the converter as the difference between negotiated maximum power value and instantaneous actual power consumption and negotiate with consumers whose power reserve value is higher than an adjustable reserve threshold value a new power profile.
Hexagonal floor and ceiling system for a vehicle
The present invention achieves technical advantages as a vehicle cabin, comprising a floor system formed of removable and reconfigurable floor segments extending from a vehicle frame, and a ceiling system formed of removable and reconfigurable ceiling segments disposed in the ceiling of the vehicle cabin. Floor segments that can be positioned to form a floor channel, therebetween. A fixture interface adapted to releasably secure a fixture to the floor system. The fixture can be slidably repositioned within the vehicle along the floor channel. One of the ceiling segments includes one or more of a lighting module, a ventilation outlet, a ventilation inlet, a display screen, or a touch control panel. The ceiling segments can be hexagonal.
Power controller for aircraft receptacles
A system for allocating power includes a plurality of receptacles and a power delivery controller communicatively coupled to the plurality of receptacles. The power delivery controller is to: detect a new connection to a first receptacle of the plurality of receptacles; receive a request from the first receptacle which would exceed an amount of uncommitted available power; request a device attached to a second receptacle of the plurality of receptacles reduce an amount of power being received from the second receptacle; and in response to detecting a reduction of power to the second receptacle, provide power to the first receptacle as indicated in the request.
STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY FOR PASSENGER SEAT AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A structural shroud for a passenger seat assembly includes a hollow body having a first end, a second end opposite from the first end, and a central cavity between the first end and the second end.
