Method and Apparatus for Holding a Book or Other Handheld Object
A method and apparatus for holding a book or other hand-held object is disclosed. The book holder comprises an encasement portion and a book holder support platform attached thereto. The book holder support platform may be vertically lowered or raised to fit the needs of the user. The encasement portion comprises material that easily stretches over or around a seatback or other substantially vertically upright support structure.

Described is a passenger seat assembly that may include a seat back including a rearward surface, a seat shroud positioned proximate to the rearward surface of the seat back and fixedly coupled to a seat frame, wherein the seat shroud remains stationary as the seat back moves between a stowed position and a deployed position, and at least one moveable shroud member coupled to the seat shroud at an attachment point and positioned proximate a rearward surface of the seat shroud, wherein a location of the attachment point is adjustable.

An aircraft seat for an aircraft passenger compartment suite is disclosed. In embodiments, the aircraft seat includes a primary section including a primary seatback portion and a primary seat base portion, and an auxiliary section including an auxiliary seatback portion and an auxiliary seat base portion. In embodiments, the aircraft seat may further include an actuatable element configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. The actuatable element may include a first surface which defines at least a portion of the auxiliary seatback portion when the actuatable element is in the closed position, and a second surface which defines a surface of an armrest when the actuatable element is in the open position.

An adapter plate for an aircraft seat may include a body configured to be positioned exterior of an armrest of the aircraft seat within a space proximate to the aircraft seat. The body may include at least one coupler configured to attach to the aircraft seat. The body may include at least one mount point. The at least one mount point of the body may be configured to attach to at least one mount bracket of the removable auxiliary aircraft accessory. The auxiliary aircraft accessory may be positioned within the space proximate to the aircraft seat when coupled to the at least one mount point of the body via the at least one mount bracket.

A cabin attendant aircraft tray table may include a front section of a body, a rear section of the body, and at least one hinge coupling the front section and the rear section. The front section may be configured to actuate relative to the rear section via the at least one hinge between a stowed position, a personal electronic device (PED) position, and a tray position. The cabin attendant aircraft tray table may be stowable in a cavity defined within a frame of a cabin attendant aircraft seat assembly when the front section is in the stowed position. The front section may be held in place relative to the rear section via a mechanical assembly when the front section is in the PED position, and may be configured to receive and support a PED when the front section is in the PED position.

An aircraft seat for an aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a primary section with an upper actuatable portion and a lower actuatable portion. The primary section may be configured to actuate between a primary upright position and a primary lie-flat position. The aircraft seat may include an auxiliary section including an auxiliary seatback portion coupled to a privacy shell element of the aircraft passenger compartment suite and an auxiliary seat base portion configured to actuate between an auxiliary upright position and an auxiliary lie-flat position. The auxiliary seatback portion may include an actuatable element. The actuatable element may be configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. The actuatable element may be configured to provide access to a stowage compartment when the actuatable element is in the open position.
