HYGIENIC HEADREST COVER AND HYGIENIC KIT FOR VEHICULAR SEATS WITH HEADRESTS AND TRAY TABLES
A hygienic cover, hygienic kit, and a method thereof for a hygienic seat location including a stretchable antimicrobial hygienic headrest cover having an ability to conform itself to dimensions of the existing headrest. The cover comprises a stretchable, antimicrobial, a non-mesh fabric configured to provide a barrier between a user and the headrest. The headrest has an elastic opening in the back surface allowing the fabric to stretchily fit over an existing headrest. A tray table cover defined by a top panel, a bottom panel, and a sidewall connecting said top and bottom panels thereby creating an opening to a cavity therein is included. A pre-packaged sanitizing wipe is included to sanitize the seating location, and a container is included to encapsulate the pre-packaged sanitizing wipe, the tray table cover, and the stretchable headrest cover, wherein the headrest cover and the tray table cover are compressed.
Suspension seating surface edge encapsulation method, seating surface carrier and seat made therewith
A seat includes a seat surface having a periphery and a carrier overmolded onto the seat surface over the periphery. The carrier has a periphery and a frame is overmolded onto the carrier over the carrier periphery. The seat is assembled without fasteners. A method for making the seat includes overmolding a carrier onto a periphery of a seat surface to form a seat surface/carrier assembly, tensioning the seat surface/carrier assembly in a mold and overmolding a frame onto a periphery of the seat surface/carrier assembly.
Spreader with open slot for passenger seat
A passenger seat includes a spreader with one or more open slot. The slot may be positioned on a lateral side of the spreader and may receive a portion of a seat base of the passenger seat within the slot. In some aspects, the slot may be elongated, and an insertion opening for the slot is provided in a top side of the spreader.
SEAT PAN ADJUSTMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING SEAT PAN ADJUSTMENT
An ejection seat may comprise a seat back a seat pan configured to translate along the seat back, and a seat pan adjustment system configured to adjust a positioning of the seat pan. The seat pan adjustment system may comprise a first actuator configured to adjust a position of a first area of the seat pan, a second actuator configured to adjust a position of a second area of the seat pan, and a controller configured to send in-flight actuation commands to the first actuator and the second actuator.
Seating arrangement
Improved seating arrangements for a vehicle cabin of a passenger transport system, in particular of an aircraft are disclosed. Examples herein provide improved seating arrangements providing a high density of seats and increased PAX numbers while ensuring privacy, comfort and a direct aisle access to each passenger. For example, the seating arrangements provided herein are applicable to narrow body aircrafts and wide body aircrafts, in particular in view of business class solutions.
SELF-CLEANING FABRIC COVERS FOR AIRCRAFT FIXTURES
Described are self-cleaning covers for attaching to passenger seats. Embodiments of self-cleaning covers can include an antimicrobial fabric having at least one antimicrobial fiber interwoven with a second fiber, as well as an attachment element connected with the antimicrobial fabric for removably affixing the cover to the seat. The antimicrobial fabric and the attachment element can be shaped to partially enclose and to removably attach the self-cleaning cover to at least a portion of the passenger seat, such as a seat cushion, armrest, or headrest.
Disposable seat cover and associated methods
A seat cover including an elongate body sheet for placement between a user and a seat is provided. A pair of arm protectors extend laterally from sides of an intermediate portion of the seat cover. The arm protectors provide a barrier between the user and armrests. An adhesive strip is integrally formed with a back surface of the seat cover and proximate an upper portion binds the cover to the seat. A pocket is integrally formed with a front lower surface of the seat cover for storing a sanitizer container.
LIE-FLAT MATTRESS PAD
The invention is an improved utility bedding product for use on beds or reclining chairs, particularly airplane seats. The inventive product is a multi-layered, lie-flat mattress pad that increases the comfort of passengers by providing a soft resting surface made of materials that permit the flow of air through the mattress pad. In preferred embodiments the mattress pad includes a pocket so the pad may be folded or rolled up and secured in a compact configuration for use as a pillow and for ease of transport.
Method and Device for Transporting an Incapacitated Person
An emergency device for transporting incapacitated persons. The device is affixed to an existing seat on a mode of transportation, such as an airplane seat, such that it appears to form the upper layer of the seat. If the passenger in the seat becomes incapacitated, the device can easily be detached from the seat, and placed into use as an emergency transportation device. The device includes handles that allow assisting persons to grasp it. The device may be rolled up into compact form when not in use as an upper layer of the seat or as an emergency transportation device. In its compact form, it may be used as a travel pillow.
Seating arrangements for a vehicle cabin
A seating arrangement for a vehicle cabin includes a first group having a number of seats and a second group having a number of seats. Each group extends laterally adjacent to each other along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin. The first group having twice as many seats as the second group with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin.
