DEPLOYABLE SEAT ASSEMBLY, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR AN INTERIOR CABIN OF A VEHICLE
20170320581 · 2017-11-09 · ·

A vehicle includes an interior cabin including a floor and a ceiling. A deployable seat assembly is moveably coupled to the ceiling. The deployable seat assembly is moveable between a stowed position in which at least a portion of the deployable seat assembly is stowed within a stowage space within the ceiling, and a deployed position in which the deployable seat assembly extends between the ceiling and the floor.

Retention of Flight Deck Preferences
20210394908 · 2021-12-23 ·

A system and method for retention of flight deck preferences operates to control a comprehensive combination of aircraft systems and system configurations enabling a pilot to seamlessly retain and recall the desired preferences based on a plurality of mission related factors. With system control of flight deck physical settings including seat position and shape, display illumination and color and internal and external lighting configurations, the system allows a pilot to save time, effort, and minimize errors of system set up and configuration. With a short entry, or short-range sensing, of the pilot ID, the pilot commands the system and method for retention of flight deck preferences to configure each of the plurality of aircraft systems according to the recalled pilot preference.

ADJUSTABLE SEAL FRAME FOR FLOOR MOUNTED CABIN ATTENDANT SEATS
20210387733 · 2021-12-16 ·

A floor mounted aircraft seat seal frame includes a frame, displacing elements connecting the frame to the posterior of the seat, and fabric tensioning elements that keep a gap covering fabric connected to the posterior surface of the seat in tension around the frame. The frame displacing elements, which may be leaf springs, coil springs, or manually adjustable element, allow the frame to conform to a wall behind the seat, regardless of the tapering of the wall.

INTEGRATED SEAT PAN CUSHION STRUCTURE

A completely integrated metallic seat pan with a negative stiffness includes a seat pan base, an internal metallic lattice, and a metallic seat pan cover surrounding the metallic lattice. The metallic lattice and seat pan cover elastically deform to absorb the weight of the crewmember and provide cushioning. The seat pan cover is contoured. Portions of the contoured seat pan cover may have greater or lesser cross-sectional thickness to provide variable negative stiffness at different locations on the seat pan.

AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT ROW WITH CABIN ATTENDANT SEAT
