The floor fixing assembly furthermore comprises a frame fixing element, which is configured to be connected to the leg of the frame and comprises at least one receiving space for receiving the retaining peg. A clamping device is configured to be introduced into the receiving space of the frame fixing element in order to connect the frame fixing element to the retaining peg by form fit.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT, AND SEAT ROW
An aircraft passenger seat including a support framework designed to be fastened to a floor in an aircraft passenger cabin. The support framework has a seat divider and cross rails running transversely to the seating direction, and the support framework is held by the cross rails, a housing including a structural component, and the housing at least partly surrounds a backrest. The structural component is provided on the seat divider, and includes a compound sheet component having one or more cover sheets, with a connecting structure provided between a plurality of cover sheets, more particularly between two cover sheets. The connecting structure creates gaps between the cover plates, and the volume of the gaps makes up at least 50% of the volume between the cover sheets of the compound sheet component.
DEVICE FOR ATTACHING AN OBJECT TO AN ATTACHMENT RAIL, ARRANGEMENT FOR ATTACHING AN OBJECT, METHOD, AND SEAT RAIL
A device for attaching an object to an attachment rail, particularly a seat rail, in an aircraft or spacecraft. A base part has a support surface to be placed onto an outer surface of the rail, and a locking element to partially protrude from the support surface along a line of protrusion. The base part and locking element are coupled or configured to be coupled wherein the locking element can be moved relative to the base part along the line of protrusion and rotated with respect to the base part. An end section of the locking element has a tip portion shaped in a dovetail-type manner. The device includes a tensioning arrangement for tensioning the locking element with respect to the rail. An arrangement includes such a device as well as an attachment rail with a rail main body and a plurality of bushes. A method for attaching an object, and a seat rail are disclosed.
Sliding joint for load alleviation
Example methods and systems for isolating and alleviating load in an aircraft are described, comprising providing a sliding joint between a seat track and a flight deck floor panel. The sliding joint comprises a lug comprising a first end and a second end opposite the first end, wherein the first end is adapted to attach to the seat track and the second end comprises an elongate aperture, and a clevis comprising an oblate shaped slider bushing that is coupled to the lug.
Apparatus for mattress retention in an aircraft passenger compartment
The present application relates to securing a mattress within an aircraft including a pliable enclosure configured for enclosing a cushion including a fastener system for providing access to an interior of the pliable enclosure when the fastener system is in an open state and for restraining the mattress when the fastener system is in a closed state and wherein the pliable enclosure has a top surface and a bottom surface and a strapping system affixed to the bottom surface wherein the strapping system includes a strap extension affixed to the strapping system wherein the strap extension is configured to be received by a retention clip secured to a bed support platform.
PASSENGER SEAT ARRANGEMENT WITH A MODULAR ENERGY SUPPLY, AND PASSENGER AIRCRAFT HAVING SUCH A SEAT ARRANGEMENT
A passenger seat arrangement for a passenger aircraft includes a passenger seat assembly having at least one passenger seat and a seat supporting frame, at least one seat fastening rail which can be installed in a cabin floor of the passenger aircraft and in which the seat supporting frame is mounted, a first electronic housing in which electrical power converter components are arranged and which is mounted on the seat fastening rail, a second electronic housing in which electrical output ports for connecting electronic terminal devices are arranged, and wired cabling which electrically connects a supply port of the electrical power converter components of the first electronic housing to the electrical output ports of the second electronic housing.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE WITH MIXED PASSENGER SEATING AND CARGO STORAGE AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A public transportation vehicle comprises a passenger cabin, comprising a cabin floor, and a plurality of seating tracks, fixed to the cabin floor at locations along the passenger cabin. The public transportation vehicle further comprises a plurality of passenger seats selectively releasably fixed to at least one seating track of the plurality of seating tracks. The public transportation vehicle additionally comprises at least one cargo cart that is selectively releasably fixable to at least one seating track of the plurality of seating tracks.
Seat fittings for attaching seats to seat tracks in a vehicle and related systems and methods
Seat fittings for attaching seats to seat tracks in a vehicle and related systems and methods are described herein. An example seat fitting includes a body having a bottom surface to face a seat track, a locking stud, and a solenoid disposed in the body. The solenoid is operable to move the locking stud between a retracted position in which the locking stud is disposed in the body and an extended position in which the locking stud extends outward from the bottom surface of the body and into the seat track.
Modular leg assembly for passenger seat
Described are modular leg assemblies for passenger seats. The modular leg assemblies can include a universal first leg member, a universal second leg member, a size specific member, and a universal seat frame tube receptor. The universal first leg member may be coupled to a first seat track fitting. The universal second leg member may be coupled to a second seat track fitting. The size specific member may be coupled to the universal first leg member and to the universal second leg member. At least one of the universal second leg member or the universal seat frame tube receptor can include a set of attachment points for coupling the universal seat frame tube receptor to the universal second leg member.
Aircraft seat power via inductive coupling
