Two-Piece Mounting Rail For A Vehicle
A mounting rail for receiving and holding loads in an interior of a vehicle includes a support element with a recess extending in the longitudinal direction of the support element and a rail element. The rail element is arranged in the recess of the support element and is mechanically coupled to the support element. The rail element has a receiving space for receiving and holding loads. The mounting rail is divided into two parts so that different materials can be used for the support element and the rail element, which meet the respective individual requirements hereof.
Seat fastening device
To provide a simple seat fastening device with enhanced flexibility and the possibility of an easy movement of vehicle seats, a seat fastening device for fastening vehicle seats in a vehicle is provided comprising a seat track and a slider in a sliding engagement with the seat track. The slider includes a seat fixation element to fix a foot of a vehicle seat, wherein the seat track includes a C-shaped profile and the slider includes a base inserted in the C-shaped profile and wherein the slider includes a clamp to clamp the slider against an inner surface of the C-shaped profile. At least one linear roller contact bearing is located between the C-shaped profile and the slider.
Seat fastening device
In order to enhance sliding movement and reconfiguration of vehicle seats while using a simple construction, a seat fastening device is provided for fastening vehicle seats in a vehicle. The seat fastening device comprises a seat rail with a T-shaped profile portion and a carriage enclosing an upper part of the T-shaped profile portion. The carriage includes a seat fixation device for fixing a vehicle seat, wherein the carriage includes a clamp arrangement for clamping the carriage onto the T-shaped profile portion. The carriage has a base body and first and second bracket clamps so that the carriage has a C-shaped channel section receiving the T-shaped profile portion. The height of the C-shaped channel section can be adjusted by at least one screw in order to clamp the carriage onto the T-shaped profile portion.
AIRCRAFT SEAT THAT IS TOLERANT TO FLOOR DEFORMATION
A vehicle seat comprising a stand and a bucket having a seat pan and a seat back. Said stand serves to fasten said bucket to a floor of said vehicle and to absorb deformation of said floor while limiting the mechanical stresses that are transmitted to said bucket. Said pan is connected to said bucket via a revolute joint for pivoting about a transverse direction and by energy absorber devices. The stand has two first legs forming a fork and connecting the front of said bucket to said floor via ball joint connections. The bucket is connected to said floor at the rear of the seat via two ball joint connections. The stand is thus connected to said bucket via three points and to said floor via four points making it possible to avoid twisting said bucket as a result of deformation of said floor.
Integrated aircraft fuselage and load-bearing structural base for aircraft seats
A fuselage is described that includes a plurality of frames and a plurality of seat rows spaced apart according to a seat pitch. Each frame includes a lateral floor beam, and each seat row of the plurality of seat rows includes a load-bearing structural base with a plurality of legs attached to a proximal lateral floor beam and a distal lateral floor beam. Each seat row also includes a seat or bank of seats attached to the load-bearing structural base, where the seat or bank of seats includes at least one seat bottom and at least one seat back. Further, each seat row includes an interface between (i) the load-bearing structural base and (ii) the seat or bank of seats to allow for attachment and detachment of the seat or bank of seats relative to the load-bearing structural base.
SEAT TRACK FITTINGS AND METHODS FOR INSTALLING PASSENGER SEATS IN AIRCRAFT CABINS USING SEAT TRACK FITTINGS
Provided are seat track fittings and methods for installing passenger seats in aircraft cabins using these seat track fittings such that the same seat can be installed on different types of seat tracks. A seat track fitting comprises a leg support, a pin, and a base interconnecting the leg support and pin. During the installation of the seat track fitting, the pin is inserted into an attachment opening of the seat track. The attachment opening is selected based on the desired position of a seat. A removable fastener then protrudes through the base of the seat track fitting and is inserted into another attachment opening of the seat track. The seat is then attached to the seat track fitting by inserting the stud end of the seat into the leg support of the seat track fitting and fixing the stud end within the leg support.
TRACK FILLER AND METHODS FOR INSTALLING THE TRACK FILLER
A track filler may include an elongated body. The body may include a first sidewall having a first top end and a first bottom end, and formed along a first side of the body, a second sidewall having a second top end and a second bottom end, and formed along a second side of the body, opposite the first sidewall, and a topwall joining the first top end and the second top end. The body may form at least a partially hollow interior portion, and may also include a plurality of periodic notches along the first bottom end of the first sidewall and the second bottom end of the second sidewall and extending toward the first top end and the second top end, respectively. The body may also include a plurality of periodic grooves extending partially through the topwall, wherein each of the grooves extend from a notch at the first top end to a corresponding notch at the second top end.
Fastening system for fastening fixtures in a vehicle
A fastening system for a vehicle has a rail with a flange, which has a bearing surface, and a crosspiece, which bears the flange, also has an accommodating device, arranged on the crosspiece and has an accommodating bore, arranged parallel to the flange and runs through the crosspiece, further has a barrel nut having a longitudinal axis and a bore, which runs transversely to the longitudinal axis, and additionally has a securing device. The flange has a flange opening directed towards the bore. The position of the bore in the nut is aligned with the flange opening when the nut is in the bore. The securing device fixes the nut along the longitudinal axis in the bore. The securing device or the shape of the nut and/or of the bore fix the nut in a rotationally fixed manner in the bore.
