Adjustable cantilever vehicle seat mounting assemblies and seat systems including the same
Seat mounting assemblies and vehicle seat systems which include the same are provided whereby a pivot bracket is operatively connected to a mounting bracket for reciprocal vertical movements while a tubular support member is operatively be associated with the pivot bracket so as to be pivotally movable about a substantially vertical central axis of the pivot bracket. A cantilevered support base arm is fixed to and extends outwardly from the tubular support member. An arm member is telescopically connected to the cantilevered support base arm to allow reciprocal rectilinear movements relative to the support base arm along a substantially horizontal axis thereof between retracted and extended positions thereof and carries a swivel plate at a distal end thereof to thereby allow swivel movements of a vehicle seat about a substantially vertical seat axis parallel to the substantially vertical central axis of the pivot bracket.
Motor vehicle with seat assembly divided into several, singulary adjustable portions
A motor vehicle includes a structural element and a seat having at least two separate and independent seat portions, each of the seat portions being configured to support a part of a user's body and being independently coupled to the structural element in a movable manner relative to the structural element with three degrees of freedom including two translations in a plane along respective orthogonal axes and a rotation around a further axis orthogonal to said plane.
Collapsible shell mounted passenger lift assembly
A passenger lift assembly includes a spine defining a motion path, a lift mechanism attached to the spine and configured to travel along the motion path, and a plurality of branch subassemblies attached to the spine, each branch subassembly including at least one leg configured to engage an upstanding wall of a seat shell positioned in relation to a passenger seat. In use, the passenger lift assembly mounts to a seat shell positioned in relation to a seat to facilitate transfer of a passenger from the wheelchair to a seat, and collapses for compact stowing between uses. The passenger lift assembly is particularly well suited for use with seats surrounded by upstanding walls and curved pathways extending from an aisle to a passenger seat.
PIVOTAL FOLDING SEAT FOR CABIN CREW AND AIRCRAFT HAVING THE PIVOTAL FOLDING SEAT
A seat assembly for a passenger cabin of an aircraft having a holding wall which is permanently secured to the base structure of the aircraft and a seat for the cabin crew. The seat is secured to the holding wall solely by a rotational axis and being rotatable by 30 to 300 between two end positions and between seat positions in which a sitting position of a seat surface of the seat is facilitated. The aircraft has the base structure, the passenger cabin, and the seat assembly with the permanently secured holding wall in the intended installation state. The seat can be rotated about each of the rotational axes between the two end positions and between the seat positions, and the sitting position of the seat surface is facilitated in each of the seat positions.
Locking apparatus for vehicle seat
An embodiment locking apparatus for a seat includes a side frame rotatably coupled to a rear end of a cushion part and having an arc-shaped slot hole disposed thereon along a turning radius of the cushion part, a locking protrusion disposed on the cushion part, fitted into the slot hole, and configured to move along the slot hole in a state in which the cushion part is rotated to be changed to a seating mode or a tip-up mode, and a latch rotatably coupled to the side frame and configured to be locked and fixed by the locking protrusion in a state in which the cushion part is in the seating mode or the tip-up mode.
