Systems and methods for cooling a core flow-path of a compressor section of a gas turbine engine are provided. In various embodiments, a cooling system for a gas turbine engine may comprise a valve system located radially outward from an engine case, the valve system being coupled between an air duct and the engine case, the valve system having an actuation device configured to at least one of open or close a valve in response to a command from an electronic engine controller, wherein cooling air from the air duct can pass through the valve system and enter the engine case into a high pressure compressor plenum when the valve system is in an open position.

Integrated aircraft galley system

An integrated aircraft galley structure includes a service module having a plurality of galley inserts including at least one oven and at least one refrigeration unit. The service module is formed with a plurality of bays sized to receive the plurality of galley inserts, along with a human machine interface for controlling all of the galley inserts. The service module further includes a plurality of galley insert modules for controlling each galley insert, and an insert power and control unit for each galley insert for controlling power to said insert. The entire system is controlled by a galley power and control unit for controlling each of the insert galley power and control units, and an AC distribution unit for distributing power to the insert power and control units.

The at least one outer boundary surface is adjusted for coupling with an auxiliary module having a correspondingly shaped boundary surface.

An aircraft heat exchanger arranged longitudinally and including a casing with an inner chamber configured so that coolant flows longitudinally from an inlet to an outlet, a plurality of laterally spaced longitudinally extending inner chamber plates, and a plurality of channels defined between contiguous plates. Each plate includes a leading edge oriented towards the inlet and configured to divert coolant towards the channels. A plurality of the plates include an inner hollow area configured to conduct a flow of hot bleed air therethrough. Leading edges of a first group of plates are arranged in a stepped pattern. A gap defined between the first group of plates and a first casing lateral wall establishes a fluid coolant communication through the first group of plates between the casing inlet and outlet. The lateral distance between each leading edge of the first group of plates and the first lateral wall decreases longitudinally.

The method may include receiving session data including actual parameters and target parameters of the control system, segmenting the session data into one or more data segments, calculating a segment score for each data segment based on at least a linear regression correlation coefficient and an average parameter difference, generating a session score based on a combination of the segment scores, and generating a notification indicative of a comparison between the session score and a predefined threshold.
