Racket and grommet

A racket includes: a grip; an annular frame; and a shaft coupling the grip and the frame together; wherein a projection is provided to an outer peripheral face on a leading end half of the frame in a predetermined range including a location of maximum curvature in a peripheral direction.

Tennis training apparatus

A sports training/exercise apparatus attached to a swinging sports apparatus, typically a racquet and most specifically a tennis racquet. The apparatus includes a drag chute with a rigid member disposed therearound and a clamp secured to each side of the drag chute. A transverse support rod is positioned between the clamps and includes an aperture therein. The apparatus further includes brackets at the top and bottom of the racquet head. A longitudinal support rod is positioned between the brackets and extends through the aperture in the transverse support rod. Thus, the transverse support rod, the side clamps, and the drag chute are slidable along the longitudinal support rod to adjust resistance. A locking mechanism can be used to lock the transverse support rod in a position along the longitudinal support rod.

Method of producing an aerial projectile for racket sport training/practice or amusement purposes

A training/practice/amusement projectile comprises a ball with optimal baffling and rebounding characteristics for play and training of hand-eye coordination and motor skills. The ball generally includes a combination of bounce and baffling elements. In one embodiment the bounce and baffling elements respectively comprise densely packed loops of filament, and individual filament strands of lesser density, both radiating from a core of the ball. A novel method of fabrication includes winding wider and narrower loops of filament, bundling same together at a cinched core, and then cutting the wider loops to form the strands radiating outward inched core to impart a generally spherical outer shape to the ball.

GAME NET

A game net for playing a game involving hitting an object back-and-forth between players located on opposite sides of the net. The game net has a netting or panel that is supportable on a frame or otherwise above a ground surface and is movable from location to location. The netting or panel has an opening or window formed completely therethrough to provide passage of the object through the netting or panel when hit by one or more players located on opposite sides of the netting or panel. With the game net, players must direct the object more accurately through the window with a higher degree of precision than what is required to pass an object over existing game nets.

HANDLE FOR SPORTS OR WORK EQUIPMENT AND EQUIPMENT COMPRISING THE HANDLE
20200406112 · 2020-12-31 ·

A handle for sport equipment comprises a tubular body (7) which extends along a longitudinal axis (L) and has an outer peripheral surface (8) adapted to be grasped by a user and shaped with a plurality of longitudinal faces (9) placed side by side in correspondence of edges (10) adapted to facilitate the positioning of the finger joints of the gripping hand by the user. The edges (10) are arranged along at least one pair of helical or spiral paths that develop around said longitudinal axis (L) with mutually opposite sign to subdivide each of said longitudinal faces (9) into a plurality of areas or flat surfaces (11) sized to accommodate a corresponding phalanx of the gripping hand of the user, each of said areas or flat surfaces (11) being perimetrically delimited by at least one pair of edges (10, 10) of each of the helical or spiral paths.

Artificial shuttlecock feather and shuttlecock

An artificial shuttlecock feather for implanting in a circular ring shape into a shuttlecock base, including: a vane section and a rachis section having one end in an axial direction of the rachis section fixed to the base and supporting the vane section provided to another end side of the rachis section, a hole being formed in the vane section so as to penetrate the vane section, and a porosity of a first region of the vane section being lower than a porosity of a second region of the vane section, the first region spanning from an edge on the one end side in the axial direction to a predetermined position further toward the one end side than a center of vane section in the axial direction, the second region spanning from the predetermined position to an edge on the other end side in the axial direction.

Sensor device

To detect a motion of a hitting tool more precisely by a sensor, provided is a sensor device including: a base member configured to be mounted on a hitting tool via a fitting structure; a substrate joined to the base member; a sensor disposed on the substrate and configured to detect a motion of the hitting tool delivered via the base member and the substrate; a communication unit configured to transmit a detection result of the motion of the hitting tool to an external device; and an exterior member configured to cover the sensor and the communication unit.
