Configurable cue stick
A configurable butt for a cue stick comprising a body comprising an elongate chamber having an internal thread and a movable weight coaxially located within the elongate chamber and having an external thread, the movable weight being threadingly coupled to the internal thread of the elongate chamber. An internal shaft extends through the movable weight is adapted to rotate the movable weight within the internally threaded chamber thereby causing the movable weight to move between respective ends of the elongate chamber by virtue of the threaded coupling for adjusting a centre of gravity of the cue stick. An indicator arrangement is coupled to the internal shaft and adapted to provide an indicate of the location of the movable weight within the elongate chamber.
Aerial Projectile for Racket Sport Training/Practice or Amusement Purposes
A training/practice/amusement projectile comprises a ball with optimal baffling and rebounding characteristics for play and training of hand-eye coordination and motor skills. The ball generally includes a combination of bounce and baffling elements. In one embodiment the bounce and baffling elements respectively comprise densely packed loops of filament, and individual filament strands of lesser density, both radiating from a core of the ball. A novel method of fabrication includes winding wider and narrower loops of filament, bundling same together at a cinched core, and then cutting the wider loops to form the strands radiating outward inched core to impart a generally spherical outer shape to the ball.
Training bat assembly
A training bat assembly for improving a user's swing of a baseball bat is provided. In one embodiment, the assembly includes a bat portion and a plug or cap portion, where the plug or cap portion is configured to mate with a distal end of the bat portion. For example, the bat may include a circular opening, and the plug may include a circular rod that is configured to fit within the opening. Alternatively, a cap with a circular opening can be used, where the cap is configured to fit over a distal end of the bat. By mating the plug or cap with the bat, and swinging the bat from a first position to a second position, the plug or cap is propelled from the bat, where the resulting location of the plug or cap can be used to determine the correctness of the user's swing was.
Badminton Racket
The present invention discloses a badminton racket, which includes a frame, a grip, a cap and a shaft. The grip includes a gripping portion, a sleeved portion, and a fastening element connected to the gripping portion. The sleeved portion has a first top surface and a first opening. The fastening element is connected to the first top surface, and the fastening element extends from the first opening to the inside of the gripping portion. The cap is sleeved onto the sleeved portion and has a second top surface and a second opening. There is a spacing length between the first top surface and the second top surface, and the cap has a cap length. The ratio of the spacing length to the cap length is between 0.39 and 0.83. One end of the shaft is connected to the frame, and another end is inserted into the fastening element.
PORTABLE EXERCISE APPARATUS
Attachments adapted for a portable exercise apparatus configured to attach to a vertical structure. The portable exercise apparatus includes a top strap attached to a hook and a bottom strap attached to a hook, the top strap and bottom strap can be wrapped around the vertical structure and secured at the apparatus. The attachments offer a variety of functionality which can all be utilized when attached to the portable exercise apparatus which would be attached to a vertical structure. Examples of some of the attachments include a basketball net, a dart board, a hammock, and other configurations which can be used and enjoyed by users.
PORTABLE EXERCISE APPARATUS
A portable exercise apparatus intended for indoor use. A vertical spine is constructed and mounted to a plurality of wall braces. The spine has a series of pairs of hooks aligned vertically. The user can then place either a pulley plate or a body into a desired hook. Hooks are configured such that when the pulley plate or body is placed therein, force in a downward or straight direction would not remove the pulley plate or body. A bench can be attached to the pulley plate or body which then allows a user to set or lie on and perform exercises using a resistance cord which can be connected to the body, pulley plate, and or braces.
Golf club
Disclosed is a golf club and a self-contained balancing mechanism for existing golf club. The golf club includes a shaft having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion opposite to the proximal end portion; a grip attached to the proximal end portion of the shaft; a golf club head attached to the distal end portion of the shaft, the golf club head having a cavity formed therein; and a balancing mechanism adapted to be received within the cavity of the golf club head. The self-contained balancing mechanism comprises, a housing member, an elongated threaded member rotatably associated with the housing member, and a weighted member threadably engaged with the elongated threaded member. The rotation of the elongated threaded member moves the weighted member along the elongated threaded member to change a center of gravity of the golf club head.
Artificial shuttlecock feather and shuttlecock
An artificial shuttlecock feather for implanting in a circular ring shape into a base of a shuttlecock, the artificial feather includes: a vane section; and a rachis section supporting the vane section, the rachis section being formed from a material having a Charpy impact strength of 30 kJ/m.sup.2 or greater and a flexural modulus of 4 GPa or greater, and preferably having a Charpy impact strength of 36 kJ/m.sup.2 or greater and a flexural modulus of 4.7 GPa or greater.
High strength racquet string
A high strength racquet string includes a monofilament core and a plurality of strands braided around the monofilament core in opposite directions. The same number of strands are braided clockwise as braided counterclockwise. The plurality of strands are not bonded to the monofilament core along a length thereof, but are bonded to each other at opposing ends to prevent unraveling of the plurality of strands. A coating is not applied to the high strength racquet string. A cross-sectional shape of the monofilament core and the plurality of strands is preferably round or substantially round. The monofilament core is preferably fabricated from nylon, polyester, polyethylene or any other suitable material. The plurality of strands are preferably fabricated from Spectra, Vectran or any other suitable material. An outside diameter of the high strength racquet string preferably ranges from 1.0 mm to 1.5 mm.
ANALYSIS APPARATUS, ANALYSIS METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided is an analysis apparatus including an acquisition unit that acquires vibration data showing a vibration generated in a first object by having a second object come into contact with a first position on the first object, a first analysis processing unit that specifies the first position by comparing a vibration characteristic shown by the vibration data, and a vibration characteristic defined for each position where the second object may come into contact with the first object, and a second analysis processing unit that estimates a velocity after the contact of the second object based on a velocity of the first object and the first position.
