Device to orient a riser of a parachute
A device to orient a riser of a parachute. The device can include a twist body that is includes a slot through which the riser passes. The slot includes a twist to change the orientation of the riser from a relatively high-profile orientation to a relatively low-profile orientation. The device can also include a link to connect the riser to the suspension lines on the canopy.
DEVICE FOR UNLOCKING A SYSTEM FOR CLOSING A CONTAINER BY MEANS OF A TIE AND CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH SUCH AN UNLOCKING DEVICE
A device for unlocking a system for closing a container by means of a tie, such as a rope or strap, in particular a tie tensioned between closing eyelets, includes a cutting tool (O) capable of cutting the tie in order to unlock the closing system. It also includes an actuation member linked to the cutting tool, the actuation member being capable of being manipulated manually by a user in order to cause the cutting tool (O) to move into a position for severing the tie.

Safety device, and flying body provided with safety device
There are provided a safety apparatus and an aerial vehicle including the safety apparatus, in which a lid and an opening end of a container are fixed before operation more firmly than a conventional art to be less susceptible to an external environment. A safety apparatus includes a piston member 10, a cylinder 14 that accommodates the piston member 10 and is provided with a bore 13 through which the piston member 10 protrudes to the outside during operation, a push-up member 15 that is pushed up in one direction by the piston member 10, an ejected object 16 that is pushed up while being supported by the push-up member 15, and a gas generator 17 that moves the piston member 10 in the cylinder 14. A bottomed cylindrical portion 19 of the push-up member 15 has a hole 53, the hole 53 has a substantially identical shape to a shape of one end of a rod 12, and the one end of the rod 12 is fitted to the hole 53. The bottomed cylindrical portion 19 and the rod 12 are fastened and fixed by a bolt member 15.
Mount to safely secure a cutter of an automatic activation device
Systems and methods to cut a closing loop to deploy a parachute. The system includes a cutter with a body with a cutter opening that extends through the body and a blade that is movable across the cutter opening. Processing circuitry is configured to signal the cutter to move the blade across the cutter opening. A mount includes a base, a retainer with a channel sized to receive the cutter, and a mount opening that extends through the mount and across the channel. The cutter is configured to fit within the channel with the cutter opening aligned with the mount opening to form a through-opening such that the closing loop extends through the cutter and the mount.

Multi-staged suspension line length parachutes
A multi-staged suspension line length parachute is provided. The parachute may comprise a canopy, a suspension line, a bundle, a bundling confluence, a traditional confluence, and a riser. The parachute may also comprise a cutter and a cutter pin puller configured to activate the cutter. The bundle may comprise a bundling line configured to secure secondary length from the suspension line. The parachute may deploy to a first length. In response to tension on the cutter pin puller, the cutter may activate to sever the bundling line in the bundle, causing the secondary length of the suspension line to release. The parachute may then deploy to a second length.
Collapsable ripcord grip
Apparatuses and systems for activating parachutes are provided. For example, in an embodiment an apparatus includes a flexible concave shaped member between at least two layers of outer material. The outer layers are secured to each other. A first tuck flap and a second tuck flap are formed from portions of the outer layers of material. A plurality of locking tabs is secured to the outer layers of material. A handle and lanyard are secured to the outer layers and flexible material. A first locking pin is secured to one end of the lanyard and a second locking pin is secure to the other end of the lanyard.
