Welded reinforcement for inflatable devices
Embodiments of the present invention provide reinforcements for inflatable device assemblies. Specific embodiments provide a welded reinforcement for crotch areas of inflatable devices. Particular benefits may be achieved when the areas to be reinforced with the reinforcement system described are non-linear, defining a geometry with at least one curve or angle. Specific aspects of the reinforcement system provide one or more precut gusset elements that are configured to be secured with respect to a crotch area of a base substrate and welded.
Off-wing slide raft
An inflatable evacuation device may comprise a ramp portion and a slide portion extending from the ramp portion. A releasable support strap may be coupled between the ramp portion and the slide portion. A release assembly may be coupled to the releasable support strap. The release assembly may be configured to release a tension in the releasable support strap between the ramp portion and the slide portion.

MULTI-STAGE EVACUATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AIRCRAFT
An emergency evacuation system includes a first floatation device, an inflator operably coupled to the first floatation device, and a second floatation device coupled to the first floatation device. The inflator is configured to inflate the first floatation device to deploy the emergency evacuation system outside of a compartment, such as proximate to a door of a vehicle.

Power source for inflation system (solid-state battery)
A power source for inflation systems. Specific embodiments relate to inflation systems that use an electrically-powered inflation system, wherein the power source of the inflation system is a solid state battery. Particular embodiments may find use in connection with inflating evacuation slides or life rafts on board a passenger transportation vehicle, such as an aircraft or marine vessel. Other embodiments may be used for inflating shelters, life vests, or any other inflatable safety device that requires a rapid inflation.

EVACUATION SYSTEM WITH AN EXTENDABLE HEAD END
An evacuation slide assembly for an aircraft may comprise a main body configured to extend from a sill of the aircraft toward a surface within a range of angles relative to vertical when deployed so as to allow persons to safely slide down the main body to the surface. The main body may include a head end configured to attached to the sill of the aircraft, and a toe end opposite the head end. A first extendable portion may be coupled to the head end of the main body and may be in operable communication with a height sensor. The first extendable portion may be configured to deploy to adjust for a variation in a positional relationship between the surface and the sill to maintain the main body within the range of angles.
