An inventive pickleball training device comprising a body portion, a handle portion, and attachment means to secure a user's hand to said body portion and a user's wrist/forearm to said handle portion. The body and hand portions are linked via a friction or torque hinge such that the relative angle between the body and handle of the inventive device, and accordingly the relative angle between the hand and wrist of the user, can be held securely in place (subject to the application of force to the hinge). Methods of using same are also provided.

A pickleball target net and a method of using thereof is disclosed. The pickleball target net may have a target membrane attached between a modular frame. The target membrane may be made out of a fabric and have a plurality of target holes of different sizes. The modular frame may have sides made out of a plurality of shafts that are connected to each other by T-connectors, and the sides of the frame may be connected to each other by 3-way elbow connectors. The modular frame may also have a plurality of frame legs that may be interchangeable by longer frame legs. The pickleball target net may be used to practice different swings used in a pickleball game using a pickleball paddle. A user may try to swing a ball inside one of the target holes of the pickleball target net to practice the accuracy of his shots.

A pickleball paddle comprising: a handle; a ball striking blade formed integrally with the handle; the handle and the blade being formed from a core layer sandwiched between outer layers to form a unitary body; wherein the core layer comprises a thickness which is substantially greater than thickness of the outer layers, said thickness of the core layer being shaped along a peripheral part of the blade and body to form an edge extending between the outer layers of the unitary body; and one or more layers of flexible edge tape being bonded to an outer surface of the edge to at least extend between the outer layers.

Provided is a net system comprising a frame, a first and second vertical riser each connected to opposite sides of the frame, a top cord connected to the distal end of each vertical riser, a bottom cord connected to a proximal end of each vertical riser, and a net suspended by the top cord. The top cord and bottom cord are balanced in tension by the flexible vertical risers. When the proximal end of the vertical riser is urged towards the center of the net, by action of a hinge between proximal and distal ends of each vertical riser, the distal end of the vertical riser is moved outward, thus tensioning the top cord.

A pickleball paddle for reducing the acoustic signature caused by striking a ball and for reducing the vibrations felt by a user is presented. A pickleball paddle includes a core having first and second sides, an outer edge between the first and second sides, and holes extending through the core from the first side to the second side. The pickleball paddle also includes a first laminate layer coupled to the first side. The paddle further includes a second laminate layer coupled to the second side. The paddle also includes fibers that respectively extend through at least one of the holes, the fibers being coupled to the first and second laminate layers.

A paddle and method for its manufacture. The paddle can be used to play sports like racquetball, pickleball, table tennis, and other similar games. The paddle has a core which is cored out in order to create a gap. The gap is then filled with a filler and can be heated up. The edges of the paddle can then be covered with a frame.

The present disclosure provides for a face sheet for resurfacing a pickleball paddle. The face sheet includes a backing having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface, where the first major surface and the second major surface include a patterned texture on at least a portion of the first major surface to provide grip against a surface of a pickleball being struck by the pickleball paddle having the face sheet. The face sheet can further include an adhesive material on at least a portion of the second major surface of the backing, where the adhesive material helps to secure the face sheet to the pickleball paddle.

A ball is configured for use in racket and paddle sport games. These configurations include a material composition that is sensitive to mechanical force. This composition may change colors in response to a crack or other defect in the surface of the ball. In one implementation, the ball may have a thin, peripheral wall that encloses a hollow interior. This ball may find use in pickleball and, thus, meets the requirements and parameters for use in the sport.

A pickleball apparatus is disclosed, wherein the pickleball apparatus comprises a spherical body and a plurality of holes defined therethrough. The plurality of holes may be defined through the spherical body from an exterior surface of the spherical body to an interior surface of the spherical body. Each of the plurality of holes may be countersunk to the exterior surface to form an outer ring and an inner ring. Each of the plurality of holes may taper from the outer ring to the inner ring such that the inner ring has a diameter that is less than a diameter of the outer ring, the outer ring is coterminous with the exterior surface of the spherical body, and the inner ring has an inset depth relative to the exterior surface of the spherical body.
