REMOTE CONTROL METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Methods and systems are provided for preventing interference from simultaneous data transmissions in a remote control system. A controlled terminal is typically configured to receive control data from a controlling terminal and to transmit feedback data to a monitoring terminal. To prevent interference caused by the simultaneous transmissions of control data and feedback data. The controlling terminal can transmit the control data to the monitoring terminal, which then transmits the control data to the controlled terminal. Such transmission of the control data may be carried out in a way that does not interfere with the transmission of the feedback data.
REMOTE CONTROL METHODS AND SYSTEMS
A system includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal is configured to communicate with a controlled terminal via a first communication link. The second terminal is configured to communicate with the controlled terminal via a second communication link and communicate with the first terminal via a third communication link. The second terminal is further configured to relay data between the first terminal and the controlled terminal via the second communication link and the third communication link.
System and method to detect authorized user
A system is described. The system may detect whether a user within a flight deck is authorized to control the aircraft. The user may receive differing levels of authority to control the aircraft depending on whether the user is authorized or unauthorized. The system may also control the aircraft depending on the various phases of the aircraft, including in flight and on the ground. The system may also be used to unlock the controls for the aircraft. The system may unlock the control using biometric information or nonbiometric information. The system may include a camera which is added to a flight deck. The camera may capture images of users within the flight deck. Faces within the images may be detected and compared against authorized users for locking or unlocking the aircraft controls.
ACTIVE SPEAKER BASED INTELLIGENT AUDIO-VISUAL CALL-RESPONSE SYSTEM
A system and method for determining an incapacitation state of an occupant is disclosed. The system may include an audio sensor configured to sense sensor data including active speaker audio of an occupant of two or more occupants. The system may also include a controller communicatively coupled to the audio sensor and configured to execute program instructions causing the processors to identify the active speaker, assign an identification code, receive a trigger, query a call response module, determine the occupant state, and direct aircraft operations based on the occupant state.
Systems and methods for detecting and managing the unauthorized use of an unmanned aircraft
Systems for policing and managing the operation of so-called unmanned vehicles are presented which allow for the takeover of the unmanned vehicle in the event of the detection of possible or actual ill-intentioned or inappropriate use of, malfunction or usurpation of the vehicle. Embodiments of the invention include dual-control unmanned vehicles which allow both pilot and police control of the vehicle, with the police having priority.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AND MANAGING THE UNAUTHORIZED USE OF AN UNMANNED AIRCRAFT
Systems for policing and managing the operation of so-called unmanned vehicles are presented which allow for the takeover of the unmanned vehicle in the event of the detection of possible or actual ill-intentioned or inappropriate use of, malfunction or usurpation of, the vehicle. Embodiments of the invention include dual-control unmanned vehicles which allow both pilot and police control of the vehicle, with the police having priority.
