20210178245 · 2021-06-17 · ·

An apparatus includes a training area in the form of an enclosed space in which light levels can be controlled, at least one physical element related to a task for which an individual is to be trained, and a lighting arrangement. The lighting arrangement generates a background luminance level in the training area sufficient to cause the vision system of the individual to function in the mesopic or low photopic range of vision, and the physical elements are themselves illuminated by an illumination means. The luminance level of the physical elements is greater than the background luminance level.

Stroke Decision Device, Stroke Decision Method, Recording Medium Storing Stroke Decision Program, and Ball-Returning Robot

A stroke decision device 30 includes an acquisition section 31 configured to acquire state information including a position, a velocity, and a rotational velocity of an incoming ball, and a stroke decision section 32 configured to decide a stroke condition including a position, a velocity, and an orientation of a striking implement at a time point when hitting back the ball toward a target arrival position, based on the state information for the ball and the target arrival position when hitting back the ball with the striking implement.

SYSTEM FOR EXPELLING AND COLLECTING BALLS AND RELATED OPERATING PROCESS

An omnidirectional system (1) is described, for expelling and collecting balls, adapted to reproduce a real playing and/or training dynamics, such system (1) being equipped with at least one closing element (8) connected to at least one expelling device (2) of the system (1) arranged orthogonal to the expelling device (2) when expelling at least one ball from the system (1), the ball bouncing on an upper surface of the closing element (8) going towards at least one user; and with at least one net element (7) of at least one collecting element (3) of the system (1).

Table tennis training apparatus
10981043 · 2021-04-20 ·

A training apparatus and method of use for guiding and improving the forehand, backhand and other strokes of a table tennis player by forcing the hand travel in the correct trajectory to strike the ball. The apparatus includes a waist and a chest belt, or a wide belt, to position a vertical rigid rod support to which the training guide is mounted. The training guide includes a plate that can be adjusted in 6 degrees of freedom via a universal joint. There are two universal joints between the plate and the vertical rod support strapped to the player's torso. The position, orientation and the angle of the plate can be adjusted by the player via the two universal joints as required. The training apparatus improves the paddle stroke trajectory by guiding the hand such that the ball is returned to the opposing player bouncing off the table.

Table tennis assembly tool

A table tennis assembly apparatus is provided. The table tennis assembly apparatus may provide a base substrate and an overlaying cutting substrate. Along at least one peripheral of the base substrate may be a bar panel and or one or more clamps. Each clamp is for urging a first force distributor to sandwich a table tennis blade, in a uniform manner, against a glued table tennis rubber supported by the base substrate. After a predetermined amount of time a user may swap the first force distributor for a smaller second force distributor, enabling the user to trim the table tennis rubber around the perimeter of the blade.

A method of operating an electronic basketball scoreboard apparatus is disclosed. The method includes receiving a game parameter; operating a basketball game based upon the received game parameter; receiving a first indication of a ball passing through a first basketball hoop; receiving a second indication of a ball passing through a second basketball hoop; determining a first score of the basketball game based on the first indication from the first score sensor; determining a second score of the basketball game based on the second indication from the second score sensor; recording video of the basketball game; transmitting the recorded video; and transmitting the first score and the second score.

HANDLE FOR SPORTS OR WORK EQUIPMENT AND EQUIPMENT COMPRISING THE HANDLE
20200406112 · 2020-12-31 ·

A handle for sport equipment comprises a tubular body (7) which extends along a longitudinal axis (L) and has an outer peripheral surface (8) adapted to be grasped by a user and shaped with a plurality of longitudinal faces (9) placed side by side in correspondence of edges (10) adapted to facilitate the positioning of the finger joints of the gripping hand by the user. The edges (10) are arranged along at least one pair of helical or spiral paths that develop around said longitudinal axis (L) with mutually opposite sign to subdivide each of said longitudinal faces (9) into a plurality of areas or flat surfaces (11) sized to accommodate a corresponding phalanx of the gripping hand of the user, each of said areas or flat surfaces (11) being perimetrically delimited by at least one pair of edges (10, 10) of each of the helical or spiral paths.
