UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE
20170372625 · 2017-12-28 ·

An unmanned aerial vehicle according to the present disclosure is an unmanned aerial vehicle that can fly in midair and includes a propulsion unit configured to generate a propulsion force for fly in midair, a laser light source configured to illuminate laser light, an imaging unit configured to generate a captured image by capturing vertically below the unmanned aerial vehicle during flight in midair, and a controller configured to control an operation of the propulsion unit. The controller analyzes a captured image, extracts a light spot formed by laser light, measures a positional relationship with another unmanned aerial vehicle based on the extracted light spot, and executes a collision avoidance operation with respect to another unmanned aerial vehicle based on the measured positional relationship.

DRAWING APPARATUS AND FLIGHT VEHICLE

Falling Drone Warning Apparatuses and Methods
20170355469 · 2017-12-14 · ·

Falling drone warning apparatuses and methods are disclosed. The apparatus may be attached to a drone and may measure acceleration during the drone's operation in order to ascertain whether the drone is free falling. If the apparatus detects that the drone is free falling, the apparatus may activate an audible alarm to warn people on the ground of the potential danger and to afford them the opportunity to take action to avoid the drone's impact or minimize its effect.

LAND AND AIR VEHICLE

An aircraft includes a fuselage with one or more wings coupled thereto. One or more wheels are also coupled to the fuselage and are configured to allow the aircraft to taxi, take off, and land. A propulsor is used to provide thrust to the fuselage and airflow over the wings. The wings may be fixed in position or may be configured to fold along a line via a hinged system or pivot along an axis. The folding allows the wings to store in a smaller footprint. The fuselage may include one or more safety features. These may include indicator lights configured to illuminate or reflect an amount of light. Additionally, the aircraft may include an occupant safety system with the likes of an airbag and even an anti-lock brake system coupled to the one or more wheels.
