Golf club head
Disclosed herein is a golf club head that comprises a strike face. The strike face has a central region, defined by a forty millimeter by twenty millimeter rectangular area centered on a center of the strike face and elongated in a heel-to-toe direction. Within the central region, the strike face has a characteristic time (CT) of no more than 257 microseconds. Within the central region, no less than 25% of the strike face has a coefficient of restitution (COR) of at least 0.8. Within the central region, no less than 60% of the strike face has a CT of at least 235 microseconds. Within the central region, no less than 35% of the strike face has a CT of at least 240 microseconds.
Athletic training system and method
An athletic training system (200) has a data recording system (202) and a data engine (204). The data recording system (202) is configured to record an athletic competition event. The event may have a first team of players competing against a second team of players. The data engine (204) is configured to receive data associated with the recorded athletic competition event. The data engine (204) processes the data and displays the data as a replay of the event in animated form.
Golf Swing Practicing Apparatus and Practicing Methods
Present invention discloses a golf swing practicing apparatus for practicing golf swing in a confined environment with a short-shaft golf club, practicing methods for setting up the short-shaft golf club at a proper incline angle in mid air at address position, and a mechanic model for determining the required club head weight that enables golfer to feel the same Swing Weight as he swings the short-shaft golf club or the conventional golf club.
PUTTER-TYPE GOLF CLUB HEAD WITH ALIGNMENT FEATURE
A putter-type golf club head that, when oriented in a reference position, includes a rear portion in communication with, and rearward of, a blade portion and having a rear portion top surface. The club head also includes a projection extending upwardly from the rear portion top surface, the projection having a projection top surface, a heel-ward side surface, a toe-ward side surface, and a rear surface, the projection top surface comprising a generally planar surface. And the club head further includes a sightline formed in the projection top surface and that comprises a groove at least partially filled with a filler material having a visually contrasting appearance to portions of the top surface surrounding the groove, the groove defining a virtual center line segment oriented in a substantially front-to-rear direction at a substantially constant height from a lowermost point of the sole between 16 mm and 26 mm.
SPORT SENSING SYSTEM
A system has footwear and a striking device. The striking device has a shaft connected to a striking surface for contacting an object. A sensor affixed to the shaft changes electrical resistance when the striking surface is swung to contact the object to in turn generate a signal reflective of the deflection of the shaft. The footwear is configured with an array of sensors that change at least one electrical characteristic upon deflection when the player is operating the striking device. The footwear is to send signals reflective of the deflection of the feet as the shaft is swung. The signals reflective of the deflection of the shaft and the footwear are sent to a cell phone, notebook, PC or the like suitably programmed to present audio and visual images of the feet positions and movement and movement of the striking device (e.g., golf club, racket).
PORTABLE GOLF SWING EXERCISER AND GOLF SWING MOTION INFORMATION PROVIDING DEVICE HAVING THE SAME
A portable golf swing exerciser includes: a main body of a shaft shape; a head shaft including a head, and one or more connection shafts, of which one end is detachably coupled to the head, and the other end is detachably coupled to a front end of the main body; and an antenna stick guide extended from or retracted into a rear end of the main body in a form of an antenna having multiple sections.
GOLF TEE SUPPORT
The present invention refers to a golf tee support used to retain a golf tee in place. The golf tee support comprises: a primary anchor arranged to penetrate a surface, a plate connected to the primary anchor, and at least one secondary anchor connected to the plate and arranged to penetrate a surface. The primary anchor has a cavity adapted to receive and grip a golf tee.
Vision training system and method of use
Devices, systems, and methods for training baseball and softball batters, to identify types of pitched balls (fast ball, curve ball, slider and changeup) and locations (strike or non-strike zone) of pitched balls in order to increase hitting accuracy A motion sensor can be triggered by the leading foot of a pitcher. The motion sensor can use cone or fan shaped sensor to detect the passage of a pitched ball from the pitcher. When the motion sensor is triggered, a signal can be sent to a black out lens that blocks the vision of a hitter being trained to identify the types and locations of the pitched balls. The training includes changing the lens from transparent to opaque at selected distances between the hitter and the pitcher. Batters can be trained to keep their eyes on the pitched balls until the ball reaches the batter. Golfers can be trained to not have to look up when their club hits the ball, where the black out lens are go opaque when the golf swing passes into the motion sensor.
Swing practice device for emitting light at impact through self-generation
A swing practice device for emitting light at impact through self-generation enables an impact moment to be checked with the naked eyes without needing a battery by emitting light at an impact time point through self-generation during swinging by using a golf club, a baseball bat, and the like. The swing practice device includes a power generation magnet provided to a shaft so as to slide in the longitudinal direction of the shaft during swinging; a power generation coil provided on the circumference of a section in which the power generation magnet moves; a light-emitting lamp connected to the power generation coil so as to be turned on by the movement of the power generation magnet; and a magnet control means for preventing the movement of the power generation magnet at a set swing speed or lower.
SWINGING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for training. The apparatus includes a grip configured for engaging a user hand, and a grip extension movably coupled to the grip between a retracted position and an extended position. The apparatus further includes a flexible shaft coupled to at least one of the grip and the grip extension and extending a substantially fixed length, and a fan connected to the flexible shaft.
