EVACUATED BOTTLE SYSTEM

An evacuated bottle system including a bottle defining a hollow interior, the bottle having a neck with a rim defining an opening; a cap assembly supported on the bottle, the cap assembly including a funnel having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being insertable within the interior of the bottle and the second portion engaging a portion of the bottle to support the funnel above the rim, the funnel defining a bore that fluidly communicates with the hollow interior of the bottle; a self-sealing membrane that covers the bore formed by the funnel to selectively seal the hollow interior of the bottle; a cap attachable to the bottle, the cap including a cover portion that extends at least partially over the self-sealing membrane to restrain movement thereof, the cover portion being axially spaced from the self-sealing membrane to define a gap that permits axial movement of the self-sealing membrane to selectively open the bottle to fluid communication outside of the bottle.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WEIGHING INDIVIDUAL CONTAINERS, AND A SET COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE

A device (10) for weighing individual containers (14) arranged in a nest (12), wherein the containers (14) are formed with a bottom region (16) and a lid region (18) and the device (10) includes at least one weighing device (20) with at least one load cell (19) and with at least one weighing receptacle (22), and an arrangement unit (28). The weighing receptacle (22) and the arrangement unit (28) are arranged movable relative to each other in order to be able to move a container (14) arranged in the nest (12), which is arranged in the arrangement unit (28), completely out of the nest (12). The disclosure also relates to a set comprising such a device (10) and to a method for weighing individual containers (14) arranged in a nest (12).

Device for preparing radioactive solutions

A device for preparing radioactive solutions, in particular radiopharmaceutical solutions, including: a movable support block with at least two cells capable of accommodating a vial; and a shielded covering, including a side wall surrounding the periphery of the support block and an upper wall covering the upper face of the support block, an opening being provided in the upper wall of the covering. A means for driving the support block is configured to selectively displace the support block into positions, referred to as working positions, in which a given cell is aligned with the opening to allow access to the cell from the outside of the covering. The support block is configured such that it can be further brought to a position, referred to as closing position, in which the opening is sealed by a shielded element carried by the support block.

Device and method for filling nested containers

A barrel is provided having open proximal end and a closed distal end, and at least one groove in an interior wall thereof. The groove(s) define a length extending a distance from the open end of the barrel toward the distal end of the barrel and defining a substantially constant depth and width along the length thereof. A piston is in sealing engagement with the interior wall of the barrel. The groove(s) permits fluid to bypass the piston when positioned along the groove(s). At least a portion of the piston is positioned distally from the groove(s), thereby sealing substance within the barrel.

Labelling device for syringes for pharmaceutical products

A labelling device for syringes for pharmaceutical products includes a carousel that holds and transports syringes, a syringe labelling station, a syringe handler, a camera for detecting the position of the marker scale of the syringes. The syringe labelling station includes an arm responsible for holding the label by a suction system and two articulated gates arranged such that when the syringe passes therethrough, the gates apply pressure over the body of the syringe in such a way that the label is affixed uniformly over the body.

Filtered Product Bag with Compact Form Factor

A product bag includes a bladder and an elongated filtration device. The bladder includes opposing first and second film layers defining a product chamber. The first and second film layers are sealed together along a perimeter seal extending along at least a portion of a perimeter of the bladder. The elongated filtration device includes a housing, a filtration membrane disposed in the housing, an inlet adapted for receiving a fluid to be filtered, and an outlet in fluid communication with the product chamber. A majority of the elongated filtration device is embedded between the first and second film layers of the perimeter seal of the bladder to provide for a compact form factor.
