Quick filling and self sealing fluid storage bag assembly
A fluid storage bag comprising a storage bag sealed to a collapsible quick filling and self-sealing fill tube. After partially filling the storage bag, through the fill tube, to a desired level with water or other liquid the storage bag is inverted, thereby collapsing and effectively sealing the fill tube against itself. After use, the storage bag may be re-filled, or recycled. In one example, a 4 inch wide fill tube extends at 6 inches into the storage bag, with the last 5 inches creating a funnel to a 2 inch bottom width. In other examples air or other gas may be introduced through the fill tube; and as the bag is pressurized, the fill tube collapses and seals so that the bag may serve as a flotation device, air mattress, pillow or other device.
Method and apparatus for refilling a container
The method includes providing a fluid-dispensing container having at least a first chamber for containing a fluid to be dispensed therefrom and a valve or tap assembly for dispensing the fluid from the first chamber. The valve or tap assembly having an outlet for dispensing fluid and closure means for the outlet. Steps are provided for a fluid refilling apparatus to engage the valve or tap assembly, moving the closure means of the valve or tap assembly from a closed condition to an open condition, injecting or pumping fluid from the refilling apparatus through the outlet of the valve or tap assembly and into the first chamber, and removing the refilling apparatus from the valve or tap assembly and moving the closure means from the open condition to the closed condition.
Rotary filling device for aseptic filling of pouches
A filling device for aseptic filling of pouches comprising a pouch fill assembly having a movement assembly, a plug removing assembly and a filling assembly. The movement assembly defining an aseptic zone and configured to direct a pouch having a spout and a plug sealing the spout through the pouch fill assembly from an inlet to an outlet. The plug removing assembly having at least one plug removing station including a grasping assembly, a plug retaining structure and an actuator assembly. The filling assembly having at least one filling station structurally configured to dispense a flowable material into the pouch through the spout.
SANITARY FILL HEAD
A filler head apparatus 20 for hygienically filling and emptying containers 22 through a fitment 24 incorporated with the container 22 includes a cylindrical outer housing 30 for receiving a hollow bore inner cylinder 32 which is actuated to simultaneously reciprocate and rotate about a central axis 33 within the outer housing. A transfer tube assembly 34 is mounted to the inner cylinder 32 to travel with the inner cylinder between an extended position engaged with the fitment 24 and a retracted position disengage from the fitment. When the transfer tube assembly is engaged with the fitment, flowable content or product may be transferred to or from the container 22. A fitment cap assembly 36 is also mounted to the inner cylinder 22 to travel with the inner cylinder to remove the cap 38 of the fitment 24 prior to either filling or emptying the container 22, and then to retract to a standby position while the container is filled/emptied, and thereafter replacing the fitment cap after filling/emptying has been completed.
METHOD OF PREPARING HYDROGEN-ENRICHED WATER AND METHOD OF FILLING FLEXIBLE POUCHES WITH HYDROGEN-ENRICHED WATER
A process of producing hydrogen water includes the steps of: cooling water to a temperature where hydrogens atoms of the water molecule expand a space between the hydrogen atoms and contacting the cooled water with hydrogen gas wherein hydrogen atoms of the hydrogen gas are positioned in the space of the expanded hydrogen atoms of the water molecule and then heating the water trapping the hydrogen atoms of the hydrogen gas in the space wherein the hydrogen water has a hydrogen content of from 3 to 10 parts per million. The hydrogen water may be filled into pouches with hydrogen water in the pouch having a hydrogen content of from 1.7 to 4 parts per million.
CHILD FRIENDLY SIPPER
A feeding spout for use with a food package includes a hollow tubular portion integrally connected to a threaded collar portion. The hollow tubular portion has a tube wall, an open end, and a closed end. The tube wall has two or more slits therethrough, the slits being offset from the closed end. Containers and pouches utilizing the feeding spout are also disclosed, along with kits containing same. In addition, methods of producing the feeding spout and pouches and packaged products utilizing the feeding spout are disclosed.
SYSTEM FOR HANDLING THE STERILISATION OF FLEXIBLE POUCHES
A system of managing the sterilisation of empty flexible pouches (1) provides applying sacrificial closures (200) to the empty pouches, loading the empty provisional closed pouches to be sterilised on a transport device (300) for the collective transportation, performing the sterilisation of the transport device (300) carrying the empty provisional closed pouches, and finally separating, in a sterile chamber, the sacrificial closures (200) from the pouches, filling and applying a tamper-proof cap (100).
POUCH ENCLOSURE WITH FILLING SLIT
A filling slit is formed in a first panel of web material of a flexible pouch enclosure formed from the first panel and an opposing second panel of the web material and having a resealable closing assembly having interlocking male and female members joined to a flange. After the flexible pouch enclosure is at least partially filled with a product through an opening in the first panel of the web material that is created by the filling slit, the filling slit is closed by sealing the first panel to the flange of the resealable closing assembly.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STORING A HYPOCHLOROUS ACID SOLUTION
A method is provided for filling a bag-on-valve can with a hypochlorous acid solution, including: providing a hypochlorous acid manufacturing apparatus having an anolyte storage tank in which the hypochlorous acid solution is stored; providing a bag-on-valve canning apparatus having a fluid inlet; connecting a pipe between the anolyte storage tank of the hypochlorous acid manufacturing apparatus and the fluid inlet on the bag-on-valve canning apparatus in order to provide the hypochlorous acid solution directly from the hypochlorous acid manufacturing apparatus to the bag-on-valve canning apparatus; providing a bag-on-valve can having a can in which a bag and a valve are disposed, wherein the valve seals the bag during non-use, the bag-on-valve can further including an actuator for actuating the valve; and filling the bag with the hypochlorous acid solution provided through the pipe. An apparatus is also disclosed for producing and canning a hypochlorous acid solution.
