Box assembling and packing system and controller for said system
This box assembling and packing system is provided: a first jig which is fixed at a predetermined position and against which a side part of a body of a packing box is thrust; a second jig which is fixed at a predetermined position and against which a flap part and a tuck part of the packing box are thrust; and a robot having two articulated arms. A first articulated arm of the two articulated arms holds and moves the packing box in a flatly collapsed form by a packing box holding mechanism, folds and raises the body of the flatly collapsed packing box into a rectangular tubular shape in cooperation with the first jig, and maintains the folded and raised body of the packing box in the rectangular tubular shape by a packing box rectangular tubular shape maintaining mechanism. The second articulated arm moves a folding member into contact with the flap part and the tuck part of the packing box being held by the packing box holding mechanism of the first articulated arm, forms each of a bottom and a lid of the packing box in cooperation with the second jig, and moves an object-to-be-packed being grasped by an object-to-be-packed grasping mechanism and inserts it into the body from an end portion at a timing between forming the bottom and forming the lid.
Container sizing method and system
A carton sizing system that has a frame, a controller, one or more cutters movably mounted to the frame and operatively connected to the controller, one or more markers movably mounted to the frame and operatively connected to the controller. The carton sizing system also has a measuring means that is operatively connected to the controller and configured to determine, in use, the footprint of an open top carton and to determine the height of one or more objects contained within the carton. The controller is configured to position the one or more cutters based on the determined footprint and to cut vertical edges of the carton based on the determined height and also to position the one or more markers based on the determined footprint and height and to score or crease vertical walls of the carton between the vertical edges to at least partially define foldable panels.
DETERGENT PRODUCT CONTAINER
A consumer product that includes a detergent product and a container, particularly containers that include corrugated fiberboard, where the container includes a box and a lid, the lid having a top panel and flanks, and the flanks have a first flank corresponding to a first side of the lid from a first flank corner to a second flank corner, the first flank having a first major flap that includes a first flank corrugated fiberboard layer. Methods of making and using such products and containers.
DETERGENT PRODUCT AND CONTAINER
A consumer product having a detergent product and a container, particularly containers that include corrugated fiberboard, where the container includes a box and a lid having a top panel and flanks, the flanks having at least a first flank that has a first major flap, the first major flap having a first flank corrugated fiberboard layer. Methods of manufacturing and using such products and containers.
Individualized packaging
A rectangular blank has sides X and Y, where a and b are side dimensions, h is height, and r is width, or width reduced by height h, of the periphery region R of the finished packaging. The method includes: producing folding lines B in the blank parallel to side Y at these distances from the latter: B.sub.1: a.sub.1=h; B.sub.2: a.sub.2=h+a; B.sub.3: a.sub.3=2h+a; severing of two severing lines T, each starting from opposite sides X, along one of the folding lines B, or the extension thereof; selecting the distance between two end points E.sub.T of the severing lines T which are closer to an axis of symmetry S.sub.1 parallel to the side X, such that the distance corresponds to a side B″ of the finished packaging or length of a side M of a packaging insert.
Convenient solid product dispensing package
A blank used to form a hexagonal shaped box, the blank having a front sidewall and a back sidewall, a first sidewall having a first sidewall top flap and a first sidewall bottom flap, a second sidewall having a second sidewall top flap and a second sidewall bottom flap, a second sidewall bottom flap extension foldably connected to the second sidewall bottom flap, a third sidewall having a third sidewall top panel, a fourth sidewall having a fourth sidewall top flap and a fourth sidewall bottom flap, a fourth sidewall bottom flap extension foldably connected to the fourth sidewall bottom flap, an inner sidewall foldably connected to the fourth sidewall, an inner sidewall flap foldably connected to the inner sidewall, a top panel including an aperture for dispensing food product there through, a bottom panel foldably connected to the front sidewall, and a slide foldably connected to the front sidewall.
Folding unit and method for forming an empty cardboard box by folding a blank around a mandrel
Folding unit for forming an empty cardboard box; the folding unit has a mandrel, around which a blank is folded to form the empty cardboard box. The mandrel has at least two parts, which are mobile in respect to one another between an expanded configuration, in which the two parts are further from one another so as to confer a maximum size to the mandrel, and a contracted configuration, in which the two parts are closer to one another so as to confer a minimum size to the mandrel.
VENTED CONTAINER FOR HOUSING A SCENTED PRODUCT AND RELATED METHODS
A container for housing scented product includes a bottom wall, a top wall, a plurality of longitudinal sidewalls, and a plurality of lateral sidewalls. The container further includes a scented product disposed within the cavity and a first plurality of selectively openable and closable vents extending through the top wall of the container. The first plurality of vents is configured to at least partially open when a force is applied to one or more of the plurality of longitudinal sidewalls and the plurality of lateral sidewalls of the container. The container further includes a second plurality of selectively openable and closable vents extending through the bottom wall of the container. The second plurality of vents are configured to at least partially open when the force is applied to one or more of the plurality of longitudinal sidewalls and the plurality of lateral sidewalls of the container.
PLATE POCKET FOR PIZZA BOX
A box useful for pizza, a method of assembling the box, and method of using the box are described herein. The box comprises a base having sidewalls extending therefrom, a box lid having a top surface and a bottom surface, the box lid hingedly connected to one of the base sidewalls, the box lid further having foldable flaps extending therefrom. A plate pocket extends from and is connected to secured to an edge of the box lid, and plate pocket comprises a base with sidewalls extending therefrom, the plate pocket sidewalls extending towards the box lid bottom surface when the box is in an assembled position, and may contain plate pocket accessories within a plate pocket cavity.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING CONTAINERS
A system and method are disclosed for forming a container from a generally flat re-configurable blank. A first portion of an outward facing surface of a blank support device is positioned proximate a first portion of a blank while the blank is in a first orientation. While the first portion of the blank is maintained in the first orientation, a second portion of said blank is rotated from the first orientation, around a second portion of the outward facing surface of the blank support device to form a blank that has a generally tubular configuration. The system and method may provide that during the rotating of said second portion of said blank, the blank is engaged on a surface side which forms an inner surface of the generally tubular configuration. Also disclosed is a system and method that includes retaining a reconfigurable blank in a holding apparatus; applying adhesive to a surface of the blank while said blank is retained in the holding apparatus.
