A processing system including a singulation system is disclosed. The singulation system includes a conveying system for moving objects to be processed from a source area along a first direction, a detection system for detecting objects at the conveying system, and for selecting certain selected objects for redistribution on the conveying system, and a movement redistribution system for redistributing the certain selected objects on the conveying system for providing a singulated stream of objects
Systems and methods for dynamic management of consolidation orders
Systems and methods for managing consolidated orders in a fulfillment center are described herein. The example systems can be configured to receive an exception when an item associated with a consolidated order cannot be collected. Subsequently, when the example systems determine that the item can be collected, the example systems can consider different factors in creating a job to collect the item. The different factors can include a shipping cutoff time, a size of the item, a capacity of a storage container used in collecting the item, and the size, location, and availability of other items to be collected for the consolidated order.
BLISTER PACKING DEVICE AND BLISTER PACK PACKING METHOD
A blister packing device and a blister pack packing method are provided. The blister packing device includes a frame, a main hopper attached to the frame and configured to receive tablets, a rotation module located below the main hopper and including a plurality of cells and configured to sequentially receive the tables in the plurality of cells and convey the plurality of cells containing the tablets to a discharge region, and a buffer including a plurality of areas physically divided and configured to receive the tablets in the plurality of areas corresponding to a plurality of cells located in the discharge region and discharge the tablets to a blister pack.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATING PACKAGING OF VARYING SHIPMENT SETS
A system for automating packaging of varying shipment sets comprises a control unit for receiving from a database stored information on the size and number of items forming a shipment set according to a dispatch order, an information acquiring device for acquiring current information on the items being actually arranged for said shipment set, said information acquiring device being communicatively coupled with said control unit and said control unit being configured to calculate, either based on the information from said database or from the information acquiring device, the dimensions of a custom sized cardboard box for packaging the shipment set, a box forming station for forming said custom sized cardboard box having a bottom wall, four side walls and an open top, a packaging station for packaging the items forming the shipment set into said custom sized cardboard box, and a lid placing station for closing said custom sized cardboard box with an appropriate lid, wherein said control unit is configured for performing a verification using the current information from said information acquiring device and the stored information from said database to verify that the actual shipment set is formed according to the dispatch order.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FILLING ORDER WITH USED CONTAINERS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for filling orders with used container. A system for filling orders comprises an order database storing a plurality of orders, a used container database storing dimensions of a plurality of used containers, and a control circuit coupled to the order database and the used container database. The control circuit being configured to: determine a container requirement of an order in the order database based on dimensions of products in the order, determine whether an available used container in the used container database meets the container requirement of the order, in an event that an used container meets the container requirement of the order, assign the used container to the order, and in an event that no available used container meets the container requirement of the order, select a new container for the order.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USED CONTAINER COLLECTION
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein used container collection. A system for used container intake, comprises a receptacle configured to receive used containers from customers, a sensor system configured to detect dimensions and conditions from containers placed in the receptacle, a used container database, a conveyor system, and a control circuit coupled to the sensor system and the used container database. The control circuit being configured to assign a container identifier to a container detected by the sensor system, measure a container dimension of the container with the sensor system, determine a container condition based on whether the container is suitable for reuse, associate the container dimension with the container identifier in the used container database, and cause the conveyor system to route the container based on the container condition.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REUSING CONTAINERS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for reusing containers. A system for container reuse comprises an order database storing a plurality of orders associated with an order fulfillment facility, a conveyor system, and a control circuit. The control circuit being configured to determine container capacity requirements of the plurality of orders in the order database based on dimensions of products in each order, predict container usage for fulfilling orders at the order fulfillment facility based at least on the container capacity requirements of the plurality of orders, determine whether a used container received at the conveyor system should be retained based on a container dimension of the used container and the container usage predicted for the order fulfillment facility, and cause the conveyor system to route the used container to a fulfillment area or a disposal area based on whether the used container should be retained.
PACKAGING FOR POLYSILICON AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING POLYSILICON
Reduction of contamination and the proportion of fines fractions in the packaging of rod form polysilicon is achieved by directly filling a plastic bag with polysilicon from a cleaning bowl by a rotating motion which causes polysilicon chunks to slide into the bag.
Method and packaging plant for placing product packages into shipment containers
The invention relates to a method and to a packaging plant which allows for a high degree of automatization of the packaging of individual product packages into shipment containers of different sizes and which is at the same time highly reliable and according to this method, each one of the product packages is assigned a conveyance tracking clock information, including information about the type of product package, its respective conveyance track, its conveyance speed, and its predetermined position and orientation within the shipment container for the specific shipment order.
