The invention relates to a tray sealer comprising a gripper device with two gripper arms, a supply device for unsealed trays, a removal device for sealed trays and a sealing device. Each gripper arm can comprise a coupling device that is configured to hold a first tray gripper for supplying trays into the sealing device and a second tray gripper for removing trays from the sealing device.
Sealing packages using tape and pull cord
An exemplary package-sealing method and system involves sealing a package with adhesive tape such that a pull cord is sandwiched between the tape and the package. A tape head includes a roll of tape and a pull cord spool, and a collar guide that helps position the pull cord between the tape's sides. Forward and rear applying rollers press leading and trailing edges of the tape, respectively, against the package being sealed. A tape blade and a pull cord blade secured to a cutting arm sever the pull cord before severing the tape, leaving a pull tab that extends out from beneath the tape when the package is sealed. The pull tab allows a user to conveniently unseal the package by grasping the pull cord and pulling thereon to separate the tape from the package without using sharp objects, enhancing user safety and reducing accidental damage to packages.

A device for manually sealing a multiwell plate is described. The device includes a multiwell plate holder, a frame movably arranged and configured to frame the multiwell plate for holding and centering a precut adhesive foil placed on the multiwell plate, wherein the frame is configured for transmitting a pressure force onto the adhesive foil, and a handle portion including a roller moveable across the frame and the adhesive foil for applying pressure onto the adhesive foil to thereby seal the multiwell plate.

An apparatus for application of a film (2) to a support (3), comprising: a movement path with an application station (6); a movement element (13) slidable along the movement path; a supporting element (14) coupled to and movable with the movement element (13) which defines a housing (23) for the support (3); an application device (4) in the application station (6) for applying the film (2) to the support (3) when the supporting element (14) is in the station. The application device (4) comprises a closing element (32), a contact element (33) and the supporting element (14) in the application station (6) interposed between them. When the supporting element (14) is in the application station (6), the closing element (32) and the supporting element are movable between an opening position, in which they are uncoupled and spaced apart from each other, and a closing position, in which they are coupled to apply the film (2) to the support (3). The contact element (33) supports the supporting element (14) when the supporting element and the closing element (32) are in the closing position.

PACKAGE FOR SURGICAL IMPLANTS AND INSTRUMENTS
A method of packaging a surgical implant is provided. The method includes receiving a portion of the surgical implant or a component coupled to the surgical implant at least partially within a recess of an implant holder. The recess includes a plurality of lobe shapes adapted to engage the implant or component. The recess only receives a top portion of the surgical implant or component couple to the surgical implant. The holder is inserted into a container. The holder has a first configuration in which the mouth of the recess is arranged to partially surround a portion of an implant or a component coupled to an implant. When the holder is at least partially received in the container, the recess grips the implant in a position spaced apart from the container. The holder also has a second configuration in which the mouth of the recess opens to release the implant. The holder includes a foldable web connecting two halves of the holder, such that the foldable web folds to move the holder between the first configuration and the second configuration.
Methods for packaging cannabis
A method for packaging Cannabis includes placing a first Cannabis mixture into a first capsule mold of a tray. The method also includes pressing the first Cannabis mixture into a first inside surface of the first capsule mold to form a first Cannabis puck. The first inside surface is rounded in two directions. The method also includes attaching a first cover to the tray to cover the first Cannabis puck in the first capsule mold.
Packaging apparatus and process
In an apparatus and a packaging process of capsules with an opening closed by a laminar lid obtained by cutting a strip, the ability of transporting the laminar lids in several lines is introduced, reducing the overall dimensions. The apparatus includes: a cutting device with a mechanism defining a portion of the strip where the strip is tensioned in a respective cutting plane, and one or more punches obtaining the laminar lids from the strip; a carousel-like transfer device, having transfer members movable along a closed path, with gripping heads configured to receive respective laminar lids from the cutting device. The cutting plane is in a vertical position, and the mutual position of the cutting device and the transfer device defines a gripping spot of the closed path, the laminar lids being retained in the transfer members on a respective plane in a vertical position.

A method of making a multi-layer product or seal is described. An adhesive layer is applied to a surface of a first layer. A patch material is applied to a surface of the adhesive layer, using a coating or spraying process, to define one or more patches. At least the first layer is cut to define pre-formed lines of separation defining one or more first portions. Each first portion is associated with a respective one of the one or more patches.
