A basketball training device for mounting on a basketball hoop. The basketball training device includes a blocking body that is dimensioned so as to block shot attempts that are at an undesirable shooting angle or will result in an undesirable bank angle. The basketball training device may be a part of a kit which includes a placement apparatus that can be used to grab and place the basketball training device onto the rim of a basketball hoop.

Devices with internal flexibility sipes, such as slits, provide improved flexibility, improved cushioning to absorb shock and/or shear forces, and improved stability of support. Siped devices can be used in any existing product that provides or utilizes cushioning and stability. These products include human and other footwear, both soles and uppers, as well as orthotics; athletic, occupational and medical equipment and apparel; padding or cushioning, such as for equipment or tool handles, as well as furniture; balls; tires; and any other structural or support elements in a mechanical, architectural, or any other product.

Golf bags may include a main compartment for holding golf clubs and a flip pocket attached with the golf bag body but movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The bag may further include: (a) a releasable connector system for releasably holding the flip pocket at the engaged position; (b) an anti-slip element for preventing movement of the golf bag body with respect to a securing strap; and/or (c) a divider to help keep the golf clubs separated from one another when stored in the main compartment. Optionally, an outer perimeter of the divider may be symmetric about a first axis extending in a front-to-rear direction, symmetric about a second axis extending in a side-to-side direction, and/or symmetric about a third axis extending in a top-to-bottom direction (when the golf bag is oriented in an upright manner). A kit of golf accessories including an attachment device is disclosed. The attachment device may include a grip portion and a plurality of first engagement members. The grip portion is configured to frictionally engage the elongate support of the golf travel device when the attachment device is wrapped around and secured to the elongate support. The plurality of first engagement members are arranged in longitudinal alignment on a front surface that is opposite the grip portion.

According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to golf. Primarily because of its unique finger configurations or apertures, the present invention makes a glove more operable in various sports activities, including for those who play Golf using the conventional interlocking grip.

A system for reducing trauma in the head or neck of a living being caused by acceleration of the head relative to a torso of the living being within a range of motion. The system includes a support engaging at least one of the head, neck, and shoulder of the living being without limiting the range of motion of the head or neck relative to the torso; a sensor in electrical communication with the system; a user interface in electrical communication with the sensor; and a damper associated with the support that is configured to mitigate the position, speed or acceleration of the head relative to the torso in response to information received by the sensor or user interface.

Described herein are devices and systems relating to sports training equipment, for example, for baseball. These devices and systems can comprise a mat with markers identifying a plurality of positions on the mat. In some embodiments, the system can comprise removably attachable footpads to identify ideal foot positions for an athletic performance. In some embodiments, the footpads comprise one or more pressure sensors. The system can comprise one or more position sensors on a ball, and one or more position sensors removably attachable to a hand-held sports instrument. In some embodiments, the system can comprise a memory, communicatively coupled to a processor and a camera, with executable instructions to implement a set-up component, a user recognition component, a practice component, and instructional component, and a play component.

A golf club protector that may be magnetically attached to a golf club iron to provide a protective, covering layer over at least the face of the iron. The golf club protector is formed from body having an inner layer, an outer later, and an intermediate layer positioned between the inner and outer layers. A series of magnets are positioned in the intermediate layer. The body has an outer perimeter corresponding to the shape of a golf club iron and is dimensioned to be positioned in covering relation to a face of the golf club iron.

The present invention relates generally to the field of retention devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a sports club wearable retention device that creates an attachment between users and their equipment, reducing the risk that a user's equipment accidently flies out of their hands if they lose their grip on said equipment. The device is primarily comprised of at least one strap, at least one tether and at least one clamp. The tether features two clips fastened to each side of the tether. In this manner, the tether attaches to the clamp, which is fixed on the club, and to a strap that the user wears. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.

A sports projectile delivery system may control the operation of a launcher to cause an American football or other sports projectile to be delivered to a target location on a field. In some aspects, the system can track player movements on the field, e.g., through the use of a tracking device mounted on the player, enabling the ball etc. to be launched to a player in anticipation of where the player will go. The system may include additional customization and/or logging options, e.g., permitting a player to designate a body position (e.g., above the head or near the knees) for delivery of the ball, designate a speed or hang time for delivery, or provide player data and analytics to an online or otherwise connected database.
