A spring feeding device configured to feed a spring (9) comprises a feeding member (60) delimiting a channel (68), a pusher (70) configured to push the spring (9) along the channel (68) delimited by the feeding member (60), and a drive mechanism con-figured to displace both the feeding member (60) and the pusher (70) such that the feeding member (60) and the pusher (70) move in opposite directions (91, 92).

Wound body, core body for wound body, combination of wound body and support shaft, and combination of wound body and medical packing apparatus

A support shaft capable of supporting a wound body with a long sheet wound therearound includes a first projection located at a proximal end of an outer peripheral part, and a second projection located at a distal end of the outer peripheral part. A core body of the wound body includes a one-end-side first recess part located at one end of an inner peripheral part, an other-end-side firsts recess part located at an other end of the inner peripheral part, and a second recess part located to extend from the one end to the other end. In a state where the core body is mounted on an outer periphery of the support shaft, the first projection engages the one-end-side first recess part or the other-end-side first recess part. When the core body is mounted to the outer periphery of the support shaft, the second projection engages the second recess to allow the circumferential position of the first projection to be aligned with the circumferential position of the one-end-side first recess part or the other-end-side first recess part around a central axis.

PACKAGING MACHINE, CONTROL APPARATUS FOR PACKAGING MACHINE, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

A control apparatus for controlling a packaging machine that includes a conveyance mechanism for conveying an item to be packaged includes: an acquirer configured to acquire a detection result from a sensor for detecting an item to be packaged; a determiner configured to obtain elapsed time from a predetermined time point until when the item to be packaged is detected by the sensor, based on the detection result acquired by the acquirer, and determine a shift direction in which the item to be packaged is shifted from a predetermined position, based on the elapsed time; and a controller configured to control, for the item to be packaged for which detection is performed by the sensor, implementation of any one of downstream units that are downstream of a unit in which the detection is performed by the sensor, based on the shift direction that is determined by the determiner.

PACKAGING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE

A packaging apparatus (e.g., otherwise described as a mailer apparatus with a material feeder assembly, a product supply assembly, a folding assembly, a sealing assembly, and/or a packaging apparatus system (e.g., including a controller thereof) for controlling the operation of the packaging apparatus. The packaging apparatus is configured for delivering products and material at the same time, and forming a package (e.g., a mailer, or other package) directly around the products. A material feeder assembly of the packaging apparatus supplies material for packaging and a folding assembly receives the plurality of products and folds the material around the products. The sealing assembly seals the material around the at least one product to form packages (e.g., makes a longitudinal seam, forms a transverse seam, and/or separates the material at the transverse seam).

ADJUSTABLE HORIZONTAL FORM-FILL-SEAL DEVICES AND METHODS OF USING SAME

A first film can be conveyed through a horizontal form-fill-seal machine that contains tooling stations in which bottom sealer bars are positioned in different tooling stations relative to side sealer bars. The first film can be processed by the machine to form a first pouch. After the first pouch is formed, a vertical height of one or more of the side sealer bars and/or one or more of the bottom sealer bars can be selectively adjusted. The same bottom and side sealer bars remain in the machine during the selective adjusting of the vertical height. After the selective adjusting of the vertical height of the component, a second film can be conveyed through the horizontal form-fill-seal machine. The second film can be processed by the machine to form a second pouch having at least one dimension that is different than the first pouch.

METHOD, MACHINE AND INSTALLATION FOR VACUUM PACKAGING OF PRODUCTS

Method, machine and installation for vacuum packaging of products, where a plurality of individual bags closed at one end and open at the opposite end with at least one product therein are generated. For generating the bags, a transverse cut and a complete transverse seal on both sides of the transverse cut are made on the film tube, and a transverse cut without complete transverse seals on the sides thereof is made at a distance (L) substantially equal to the desired length of the bag to be generated from the transverse cut and seal on both sides. Each bag is oriented at 180 degrees with respect to the bag previously generated in the forward movement direction.

Sheet for use in pill packages, and pouch formed from a sheet

The disclosure relates to a sheet, a pouch containing pills made of a sheet material and a web of multiple of said pouches. The disclosure also relates to a method for manufacturing said web which makes use of said sheet. The pouches allow for optimal visibility of information printed on the pouches as well as optimal visibility of the pills for inspection purposes.

MEDICINE PACKAGING APPARATUS
