BASEBALL BATTING TRAINING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A device (10) for training a batter for a baseball or softball game has a body (12) that is fitted to the arm of the user, parallel to the humerus bone. A slot (30) on an outer surface of the device body is sized and adapted to receive a shaft portion of a user's bat, at an oblique angle to the humerus bone. The device trains the user to keep the shaft of the bat close to an upper portion of the user's arm below the shoulder and above the elbow. The device also trains the user to employ a rotation of the torso and hips to induce a moment of rotational inertia in the bat, causing the bat to be pulled out of the slot and into a swing plane.
Physical Therapy Device
A device for physical therapy includes a base on which a sliding platform is mounted. One or more of a plurality of springs may be selected to act between the base and the platform to tailor the resistance of platform motion to a specific therapy or patient. The platform has a removable cushion with a friction inducing surface which a patient may use in conjunction with a friction inducing headband to perform various neck therapies and exercises.
Workout station
Exemplary embodiments of a workout station and methods of using the workout station are provided.
Hand held disc cleaning tool for recreational throwing discs
Accordingly, it is the object of the present invention to provide an improved method for cleaning recreational throwing discs. One embodiment of my tool is roughly in the shape of a half circular pocket. The tool comprises of a spine 102 with a scrubbing material, and or absorbent material along the bottom longitudinal surface of the spine 108. Two body sections, one front 202F and one back 202R, both having an arched top edge 204. The two body sections have a scrubbing material, and or absorbent material attached to their interior faces 208. The spine is contiguous along its front edge 104F and back edge 104R to both arched top edges of both body sections 204. The resulting tool is configured so all scrubbing and or absorbent materials are located within the interior of the tool.
Device for reducing anterior pelvic tilt and a method for its use
An exercise device and a method for its use to aid in the correction of Anterior pelvic tilt. A base has an upper support and a lower support. The base device is strapped around a user's stomach and connected to a rope. The rope passes through the user's legs and is attached to a weight holder behind the user. As the user walks forward, the weight holder is dragged along the floor and the force of the weights on the weight holder pressed the base against the user's stomach and aids in proper alignment of the pelvic region.
Autonomous tennis assistant systems
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for autonomous tennis assistant systems. Example methods include determining, by a device, an outer boundary line of a tennis court, generating a digital representation of the tennis court using the outer boundary line, where the digital representation includes at least a portion of an out-of-bounds area adjacent to the outer boundary line, determining a first location of a first tennis ball, and causing a tennis ball retrieval robot to move to the first location to retrieve the first tennis ball, where the tennis ball retrieval robot is wirelessly connected to the device.
FLOAT WITH RETRACTABLE FOOT REST
The present invention proposes a float with a retractable foot rest, comprising a lying float body, a supporting element, a protecting assembly and a foot rest cushion. The supporting element and the protecting assembly are installed in a lying float splicing body; the foot rest cushion that can be retracted or expanded is installed at the lower end of the supporting element; and the foot rest cushion is connected with the supporting element. When the float is worn, the foot rest cushion can be expanded to replace an additional bath towel that needs to be placed on the ground to prevent dirt. After wearing, the foot rest cushion can be retracted below the supporting element, or as required, the floating body is spliced on the lying float body, and the foot rest cushion is connected with the floating body.
Portable devices for exercising muscles in the ankle, foot, and/or leg, and related methods
A method for exercising muscles in an ankle, foot, and/or leg of a user includes positioning a foot of a user onto a first body of an exercise device. The first body is spaced away from a second body of the device and pivotably connected to the second body of the device at a pivot axis. The pivot axis is adjacent to a central portion of the first body. The method includes rotating the first body about the pivot axis, with the foot, against a first resistive force. Rotating the first body includes subjecting the foot to a first motion. The method includes positioning the foot onto the second body. The method includes rotating the second body about the pivot axis, with the foot, against a second resistive force. Rotating the second body includes subjecting the foot to a second motion, the second motion being different than the first motion.
Modular handheld weight training apparatus and closure system
A modular weight training bag system, made up of a main bag constructed of heavy pliable fabric with a zipper-less closure, an inner lining that holds a granular material which adds weight and volume to the main bag, and also has a uniquely designed closure, using various size pouches to increase weight, an add-on weight attachments installed on the main bag for the purpose of quickly increasing the weight of the bag, a capsule sleeve for securing two main bags together, and a soft shell constructed to cover the main bag or capsule sleeve.
