A method of wrapping a palletized load includes providing an apparatus with a first wrapping system and a second wrapping system, banding a top edge and bottom edge of stretch film from each of the first wrapping system and the second wrapping system, overlapping the stretch film from the first wrapping system with the stretch film from the second wrapping system to create a composite stretch film, and wrapping the composite stretch film around the palletized load. The edges of the stretch film may be banded by passing the stretch film through a set of adjustment arms. The composite stretch film may have a plurality of sections, where each section is separated from adjacent section by a banded border, a first section, third section, and fifth section each has one layer of stretch film, and a second section and a fourth section each has two layers of stretch film.

Portable wrapping machine

A wrap machine assembly including a pallet having a top surface having goods thereon and a side surface. The top surface is located above a floor. The wrap machine assembly also includes a wrapping machine having a base and a wrapping arm including a roll of wrap film. The base of the wrapping machine has at least one front wheel and at least one rear wheel. A portion of the wrapping machine is positioned adjacent the side surface of the pallet. The wrapping arm encircles the goods on the pallet, with a circle of rotation of the wrapping arm forming a periphery of a wrap circle area. The at least front wheel of the base of the wrapping machine is located within the wrap circle area when the pallet is viewed from above. No part of the wrapping machine is located under the pallet.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WRAPPING LOADS OF GOODS WITH TUBULAR STRETCH FILM

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems including stretch-hood machines configured to vertically and horizontally apply tubular stretch film to loads of goods and to methods for wrapping loads of goods with multiple segments of tubular stretch film.

Pallet roping and wrapping apparatus

Pallet roping and wrapping machines having a plurality of spools of stretch film supported on one or more spools and guides that form ropes of stretch film without cutting. Specific implementations of guides include guides formed or rings and rollers. Positions of guides may be adjustable. A primary roll of stretch film may be positionally coupled to a primary spool core, and a plurality of secondary rolls of stretch film may be positionally coupled to one or more secondary spool cores. The wrapping machines may include a plurality of guides positioned to narrow the stretch film from the plurality of secondary rolls to form a plurality of ropes fully overlapping a web of the primary roll of stretch film when wrapped around a palletized load.

Disclosed is a method for arranging an edge-protection device on a package. For this purpose, an arranging device is moved from a starting position in the direction of the package. The package edge is sensed by way of a first or a second sensor. Which sensor is to be used is determined by a controller. To this end, the latter checks whether one of the sensors is arranged above the package top side. Also disclosed is an arranging device, which is used in the abovementioned method.

Stretch-wrapping machine with self-adjusting pinch rollers

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a stretch-wrapping machine with self-adjusting pinch rollers configured to reorient themselves to compensate for misalignment relative to their respective pre-stretch rollers. This ensures the pinch rollers press the entire width of the film against their respective pre-stretch rollers as the film is drawn through the rollers.

Machine and method for stabilising palletised loads
