A method of wrapping a palletized load includes providing an apparatus with a first wrapping system and a second wrapping system, banding a top edge and bottom edge of stretch film from each of the first wrapping system and the second wrapping system, overlapping the stretch film from the first wrapping system with the stretch film from the second wrapping system to create a composite stretch film, and wrapping the composite stretch film around the palletized load. The edges of the stretch film may be banded by passing the stretch film through a set of adjustment arms. The composite stretch film may have a plurality of sections, where each section is separated from adjacent section by a banded border, a first section, third section, and fifth section each has one layer of stretch film, and a second section and a fourth section each has two layers of stretch film.

APPARATUS FOR WRAPPING A LOAD AND ASSOCIATED METHODS

There is provided a method for wrapping a load comprising an upper portion defining an upper peripheral surface and a lower portion defining a lower peripheral surface. The method includes configuring a first material dispenser including a first material web in a first starting position and a second material dispenser including a second material web in a second starting position. The method includes and providing a rotation between the load and the material dispensers, such that, upon the rotation, the first material dispenser wraps the upper peripheral surface of the load with the first material web and the second material dispenser wraps the lower peripheral surface of the load with the second material web. The first material dispenser wraps the upper peripheral surface of the load simultaneously while the second material dispenser wraps the lower peripheral surface of the load during at least a portion of a wrapping cycle.

A method of wrapping a palletized load includes forming at least two composite stretch films, wrapping each of the composite stretch films around the palletized load, and leaving a gap between the first composite stretch film and the second composite stretch film as the composite stretch films are wrapped around the palletized load. Forming the composite stretch films includes narrowing stretch film from a first spool to create a first banded stretch film with a first width, narrowing stretch film from a second spool to create a second banded stretch film with a second width smaller than the first width, and overlaying the second banded stretch film on the first banded stretch film, with the second banded stretch film positioned between the top edge and bottom edges of the first banded stretch film. The gap may have a width that is equal to or larger than the first width.

METHOD FOR GROUPING A PLURALITY OF OBJECTS TO BE MOVED
20230339635 · 2023-10-26 · ·

Method of grouping a plurality of objects to be handled includes positioning the objects on a support surface and wrapping the objects and support surface with a tape of non-creped paper material. The tape having an extensibility of at least 6% in the longitudinal direction and 6% in the transverse direction and is maintained before or during the winding of the tape in a state of tension which causes it to extend to a lesser extent than its maximum extensibility.

Packaged-body producing method

A packaged-body producing method that minimizes damage to packaged bodies due to constriction or the like and that enables formation of packaged bodies in various shapes is provided. The method includes a first step in which a plurality of packages 10 accommodating toilet paper rolls or the like are stacked, and recesses are provided at predetermined positions of the stacked form; a second step in which a packaging film 20 is spirally wound on the sides of the package stack form; and a third step in which the packaging film 20 is wound so as to cover the circumference, including an upper end portion and a lower end portion, of the package stack form.

Plant for packing PVC bottles or other similar containers in packs by applying band-like bindings called also as straps
11390407 · 2022-07-19 ·

A plant for packing bottles or similar containers includes an operating unit carrying out a rapid assembly that includes a portable pack made by three straps: a first one applied on the lower half of the body of the bottles, a second one applied at the neck of the bottles, both arranged on planes perpendicular to the vertical axes of the bottles, and a third one applied loosely and perpendicularly to the other two straps and laying on a vertical plane passing through the center of gravity of the pack.

Unit for controlling or managing products
