Methods of utilizing a label and bundling assembly, include: providing a label having a first end and a second end, providing an attachment component having a first point, a second point, a top side, and an underside comprising an adhesive, providing a bunching component, coupling the first point of the attachment component with the second end of the label, securing the bunching component to the adhesive of the attachment component, bringing the second point of the attachment component around a portion of the bunching component, and contacting the underside of the second point of the attachment component with the adhesive.
METHOD, APPLICATION DEVICE, AND PACKAGING DEVICE FOR PRODUCING STRAPPED PACKAGES
The invention relates to a method, to an application head (1), and to a packaging device for producing strapped packages, each of which is made of at least two grouped articles that are held together by means of at least one strapping band. The method has at least the following steps: providing the at least two grouped articles, which are positioned in a movement and/or handling area of an application head (1); and inserting at least one prefabricated closed strapping band into the application head (1), in which the strapping band is fixed in a defined position. The application head (1) has a variable opening width of a cage (50) which can surround the outer surface of the grouped articles. The application head (1) equipped with the at least one strapping band is then lowered over the articles by means of a feed movement which runs approximately parallel to longitudinal central axes of the articles, wherein the cage (50) of the application head (1) contacts the grouped articles on the outer surface thereof and at least slightly compresses the grouped articles. The strapping band is then positioned at a provided position of the articles by lowering the application head (1), which is simultaneously compressing the articles, in a defined manner. The opening width of the cage (50) of the application head (1) is then increased while the at least one strapping band is simultaneously released and removed from its fixed position within the application head (1) and the application head (1) is raised over the strapped article grouping and is removed therefrom.
METHOD, APPLICATION DEVICE, AND PACKAGING DEVICE FOR PRODUCING PACKAGING UNITS
The invention relates to a method, to an application device (40), and to a packaging device for producing packaging units (13). Each of the packaging units (13) is made of at least two grouped articles (10) which are held together by means of at least one strapping band (15) and by means of at least one packaging blank (60). The method has at least the following steps: providing the articles (10) in a movement and/or handling area of an application head (1); inserting a closed strapping band (15) and a prepared packaging blank (60) into the application head (1); feeding the application head (1) equipped with the at least one strapping band (15) and the at least one packaging blank (60) to the articles (10), said grouped articles (10) being at least slightly compressed; positioning the strapping band (15); securing the packaging blank (60) to the articles (10); opening the application head (1) while simultaneously releasing and separating the at least one strapping band (15) from the fixed position of the strapping band within the application head (1); releasing and separating the at least one packaging blank (60); and removing the application head (1) from the strapped article grouping (12) combined by a packaging blank (60).
METHOD FOR WRAPPING A PLURALITY OF ARTICLES
A method for wrapping articles involves forming a closed-loop structure by attaching on a first face of a length of flexible material a face of a flat and rigid element and by attaching an opposite face of the flat and rigid element to a second face of an end portion of the length of flexible material, so as the closed-loop structure is a closed-loop cover carrying the flat and rigid element, or by attaching both ends of a length of flexible material to respective parts of a support, so as the closed-loop structure is formed by a sequential assembly of the length of flexible material and the support. The method further involves enclosing the articles, folding the closed-loop structure along the flat and rigid element, if present, or along parts of the support, and attaching a folded portion of the closed-loop structure to an adjacent external surface of the closed-loop structure.
Method, application device, and packaging device for producing packaging units
The invention relates to methods and devices for producing packaging units. Each of the packaging units has at least two articles which are held together by at least one strapping band and by at least one packaging blank. The method includes: providing the articles in a handling area of an application head; inserting a closed strapping band and a prepared packaging blank into the application head; feeding the application head to the articles, with the grouped articles being at least slightly compressed; positioning the strapping band; securing the packaging blank to the articles; opening the application head while simultaneously releasing and separating the at least one strapping band from the fixed position of the strapping band within the application head; releasing and separating the at least one packaging blank; and removing the application head from the strapped article grouping combined by a packaging blank.
Method, application device, and packaging device for producing strapped packages
The invention relates a method using an application head for grouping articles that are held together by a strapping band. The method includes: providing the at least two grouped articles; inserting a prefabricated closed strapping band into the application head, wherein the strapping band is fixed in a defined position. The application head has a variable opening width of a cage which surrounds the grouped articles. It is then lowered over the articles by a feed movement which runs approximately parallel to longitudinal central axes of the articles, wherein the cage contacts the grouped articles and slightly compresses the grouped articles. The strapping band is then positioned by lowering the application head. The opening width of the cage is then increased while the strapping band is simultaneously released. Then the application head is raised over the strapped article grouping and is removed therefrom.
Bundling system for banding item(s)
A bundling system that is configured to band item(s) together. The bundling system may have a platform having a plurality of actuatable rods that are configured to move between a retracted state and an extended state. The retraction of the rods may create a pocket within the rods for receiving the item(s), and may keep the item(s) in place while the item(s) are banded together. For example, a banding mechanism may place one or more band(s) around the item(s) in order to secure the item(s) together. In some instances, the item(s) may be banded together at one or more banding locations and/or different orientations to secure the item(s) together. After being banded, the item(s), now as single unit, may be packaged or further processed.
