Binding device

A binding device that prevents damage to binding tape including a biodegradable material as a base material comprises a pressing surface formed on a resin attachment which is detachably mounted on a head of a tape holding plate, and therefore it is possible to mount an attachment of a shape and material suitable for binding tape to be used. Furthermore, because the tape receiving plate is formed by a rubber plate, the tape receiving plate is able to absorb a shock generated by the pointed end of the tape holding plate entering the tape receiving plate. With this arrangement, it possible to prevent damage to fragile binding tape including a biodegradable material as a base material.

BINDING MACHINE

A binding machine includes a body part, a feeding unit configured to feed a wire, a first guide and a second guide extending in a first direction from an end portion on one side of the body part, arranged with an interval, in which a binding object is inserted, in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and configured to guide the wire fed by the feeding unit, a twisting unit configured to twist the wire guided by the first guide and the second guide, and a guide moving part configured to change the interval from a first distance to a second distance shorter than the first distance.

A binding machine includes a body part, a feeding unit configured to feed a wire, a first guide extending in a first direction from an end portion on one side of the body part, configured to guide the wire fed by the feeding unit, and having a first induction part provided on a tip end-side in the first direction, a second guide spaced from the first guide with an interval, in which a binding object is inserted, in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and configured to guide the wire fed by the feeding unit, and a twisting unit configured to twist the wire. The first induction part is constituted by a surface inclined in a direction in which the interval between the first guide and the second guide decreases from a tip end-side toward a base end-side of the first induction part in the first direction.

Robotic strapping machine and method

A strapping system and method for automatically applying strapping to at least one associated object, such as a roll of coiled material having a void. The system includes a first end effector (E1) and second end effector (E2), each end effector (E1,E2) mountable to a robotic arm (A1,A2) and including at least a portion of a chute, the end effectors (E1,E2) movable relative to each other when mounted to a robotic arm (A1,A2) such that the chute portions of each end effector can be selectively brought together in a plurality of orientations to define a generally continuous chute loop (CH) through which a strapping material can be advanced to surround the at least one associated object located at least partially within the chute loop.
