BINDING DEVICE
Provided is a binding device that prevents damage to binding tape including a biodegradable material as a base material.
A pressing surface 106 is formed on an attachment 105 including resin, which is detachably mounted on a head 84 of a tape holding plate 83, and therefore it is possible to mount an attachment 105 of a shape and material suitable for binding tape 7 to be used. Furthermore, because the tape receiving plate 87 is formed by a rubber plate, the tape receiving plate 87 is able to absorb a shock generated by the pointed end 85 of the tape holding plate 83 entering the tape receiving plate 87. With this arrangement, it possible to prevent damage to fragile binding tape 7 including a biodegradable material as a base material.

Bale Press
A bale compression device for receiving and compressing a bale of material. The device includes a press configured to compress the bale of material to a required compressed dimension, a binding applicator configured to apply a plurality of bindings around the bale of material prior to the bale being compressed, and a connector for connecting ends of each of the bindings to form a plurality of complete loops around the perimeter of the bale so that the plurality of loops act to hold the bale in a compressed state. The binding applicator acts to withdraw excess binding as the press compresses the bale, prior to the connector connecting the ends of each of the bindings, such that the complete loops are formed when the bale reaches its required compressed dimension.

BINDING MACHINE
A binding machine, includes an accommodating portion configured to accommodate a tape reel, which has a tubular bobbin and a tape wound around an outer circumferential surface of the bobbin, with a part of the tape pulled out of the accommodating portion. The accommodating portion includes: a side wall configured to face a side surface of the accommodated tape reel, a first protrusion protruding from the side wall and configured to fit to the bobbin of the accommodated tape reel so as to rotatably support the tape reel, and a second protrusion protruding from the side wall and configured to abut with a side surface of the accommodated tape reel.

BINDING MACHINE
A binding machine, includes a staple guide portion adjacent to a staple in a staple accommodating portion. A staple driver moves from below to above and pushes the staple located at the front end portion upward while pushing the crown portion of the staple. A clincher abuts against the pair of leg portions of the staple pushed out in a process of the staple driver moving upward from below so as to fold the pair of leg portions. The staple guide supports the crown portion of the staple from a side near a base end portion of the crown portion in a process of the staple being pushed out.
