Binding machine for gardening
A binding machine for gardening includes a binding machine main body, a magazine attached to the binding machine main body and loaded with a tape, and a clincher arm rotatably attached to the binding machine main body and configured to draw the tape out of the magazine and bind an object to be bound which is wound by the tape. The magazine includes a housing in which the tape is loaded, a boss provided at a center of the housing and configured to support a reel around which the tape is wound, and an abutting member rotatably attached to the boss and abuts against an inner peripheral surface of the reel.
Banding of objects with tape
A banding machine applies bands about objects for packaging, decorative, or other purposes. An object is banded with tape by: grasping a starting end of a tape extending from a tape roll between a first roller and a brake, with the first roller being situated adjacent the object alongside a second roller; orbiting the object with tape roll to apply the tape to the circumference of the object; during the orbit, pressing the starting end of the tape against the object with a wiper, and releasing the tape starting end from the brake; upon the tape's orbital approach of the tape starting end, receiving the tape over the first and second rollers; extending a knife between the first and second rollers to cut the tape, thereby defining a finishing end of the tape extending about the object; and pressing the finishing end of the tape against the object with a wiper.

Apparatus and Method for Sealing or Tying Products
An apparatus for sealing or tying products, comprising a housing with at least a first tape dispenser and a star wheel, a slot defined by or through the housing, wherein the star wheel extends at least partly in said slot, wherein the star wheel comprises a series of first cells and a series of second cells, the first and second cells being intermittently disposed in the star wheel, each cell being open to a periphery of the star wheel and two opposite sides thereof, wherein an urging device is provided having at least one edge portion for urging at least one product to be tied into one of the cells, especially a first cell.

Binding machine
A binding machine includes a wire feeding unit, a curl forming unit, a cutting unit, a binding unit, and a transmission unit that transmits movement of the binding unit to the cutting unit. The binding unit includes a locking member that locks a wire, a sleeve that actuates the locking member, and a rotary shaft that actuates the sleeve. The transmission unit includes a displacement member to be displaced by movement of the sleeve, and a transmission member that transmits movement of the displacement member to the cutting unit. The cutting unit includes a movable blade part connected to the transmission member. The displacement member switches an amount of movement of the movable blade part and a force that can be generated by the movable blade part, within a moving range of the movable blade part.

TAPE CLAMPING METHOD, BINDING MACHINE, AND BINDING ARTICLE
A tape clamping method is used for clamping a band-shaped tape surrounding an object to be bound with a staple. The method includes: overlapping a first end that is one end of the tape and a second end that is another end of the tape; and clamping the tape by deforming the staple in a manner of clamping an overlapped part of the first end and the second end from an outer side of at least one of a pair of side edges of the tape.
