Strapping Tool
A strapping tool is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a motive power source; and a tensioning assembly operatively coupled to the motive power source, the tensioning assembly including a cam member and at least one tensioning foot member, the cam member operatively coupling the at least one tensioning foot member to the motive power source, and the at least one tensioning foot member of the tensioning assembly configured to apply tension to a piece of strapping while being driven in an oscillatory manner by the motive power source. Also, in one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a jaw lifting assembly, the jaw lifting assembly configured to raise the at least one sealing jaw member out of a strapping pass line of the strapping tool so that the piece of strapping is capable of being inserted into the strapping tool.
APPARATUS FOR BANDING PRODUCTS
A device for banding products includes a supply mechanism for supplying band material from a supply roll, means for forming a loop in an end portion of the band material around a space for accommodating products, and means for cutting off the end portion and means for closing the loop. The supply mechanism includes conveying means for gripping the band material over part of its length and conveying the same in a guided manner, as well as driving means for driving the conveying means.
APPARATUS FOR BANDING PRODUCTS
A device for banding products includes a supply mechanism for supplying band material from a supply roll at an unwinding speed, wrapping means for forming a loop in an end portion of the band material around a space for accommodating products at a banding speed, means for cutting off the end portion and means for closing the loop. A buffer mechanism is disposed between the supply mechanism and the wrapping means, and includes at least a first and a second assembly of conveying means for conveying the band material from the supply mechanism to the wrapping means at a conveying speed and driving means for driving the conveying means. The first and the second assembly of conveying means are driven independently of each other.
Assembly, strap guiding device and method for providing a bulky item with a strap
An assembly for applying a strap around the outer circumferential surface of a bulky item. The assembly comprises a binding zone configured to receive the bulky item; a channel defined along a guiding surface of a strap guiding device that surrounds the binding zone and is configured to guide strap material around the bulky item; and a binding apparatus with a binding head for delivering the strap material to the channel and for fastening a first end of the strap material to a second end of the strap material to form the strap. The channel has two channel ends that define an opening through which the binding head can pass. The opening in the channel can be rotated to allow placement of the bulky item into the binding zone.
STACKING AND STRAPPING SYSTEM FOR MATERIAL PACKAGES
A lumber stacking and strapping system can provide a single-station solution for both lumber stacking and package strapping. In addition, the package strapping system may apply multiple straps simultaneously to the package. For example, a package stacking and strapping system can provide not only a mechanism for formulating a package of lumber one layer at a time, but also a mechanism for lowering a completed package directly into a compression and strapping station, such as using the lumber stacker package accumulation hoist. The stacking and strapping system can then simultaneously apply strapping around the package in multiple positions along the length of the package, with bottom battens and top corner protectors further supplied and strapped into place as desired. A method for stacking and strapping a package in a single location is also provided.
Strapping tool
A strapping tool is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a motive power source; and a tensioning assembly operatively coupled to the motive power source, the tensioning assembly including a cam member and at least one tensioning foot member, the cam member operatively coupling the at least one tensioning foot member to the motive power source, and the at least one tensioning foot member of the tensioning assembly configured to apply tension to a piece of strapping while being driven in an oscillatory manner by the motive power source. Also, in one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a jaw lifting assembly, the jaw lifting assembly configured to raise the at least one sealing jaw member out of a strapping pass line of the strapping tool so that the piece of strapping is capable of being inserted into the strapping tool.
Strapping Tool
A strapping tool is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a motive power source; and a tensioning assembly operatively coupled to the motive power source, the tensioning assembly including a plurality of strapping foot members, the plurality of strapping foot members arranged side-by-side transversely across a strapping pass line, at least one of the plurality of strapping foot members being in a form of a tensioning foot member configured to apply tension to a piece of strapping while being driven in an oscillatory manner by the motive power source.
